I'm a DIYer so when I contact a professional it's to get an expert who will get the job done quickly and get the job done right.I noticed our grinder pump overflowing and found the breaker had tripped due to a short in the grinder control panel. After cleaning up the wiring I was able to get it to evacuate water. However the pump wouldn't shut off entirely, the manual test controls didn't work, and of course the alarm never sounded before the overflow, so I knew there was a bigger problem.Thankfully, Curtis was exactly the expert I needed for our grinder pump issues. He showed up the same day I called him. He diagnosed the control box issues and thoroughly inspected the pump equipment to also find a problem with one of the floats. After a quick trip to get a control box replacement, he quickly got it swapped out, cleanly installed and rewired, fully tested, and all fixed! He took the time to explain everything and walk through the alarm and test controls on the new box.If you have septic issues, and want a professional who will inspire confidence with their expertise, get the job done fast but not rushed, and at a fair and reasonable cost, call Curtis at Hometown Septic. Other than to not have septic issues, what more could you ask for?!
