We’re so grateful to have found SBG. What started with our son has turned into the whole family stepping onto the mats—and we’re fully in now.Training together has been such a powerful experience—challenging each other, growing through it, and pushing one another to be better. The kids are thriving—more confident, more resilient, and genuinely excited to learn (which says everything).As for me… I’m right there with them—learning, adjusting, and respecting the process.We love this place and the community around it.

My son has ADHD and this is my review of him in Jiu Jitsu at SBJ so far!Its been a great outlet for him. At home he is more motivated to do his daily tasks in regards to his monthly assignment. For example this month he has been making his bed most mornings, turning lights off, doing dishes and cleaning up after himself. Kiddo seems to be having less emotional outbursts and regulate his mood better. He is learning how to harness his focus a bit better and is a work in progress. The stripes system has him engaged and motivated to continue improving and staying engaged in jiu jitsu instead of losing interest like he has other sports.This has also been a great atmosphere for him to make new friends 🧡

We put our daughter in SGB in September. Before she came she was having problems in school and day care and was really struggling emotionally. Straight Blast Gym helped build up our daughter’s discipline, confidence and regulation massively since starting. Shes completing all her life skills sheets with flying colors, she always looks forward to getting her stripes and we have seen a massive improvement in her school and daycare setting. Thank you so much Straight Blasy Gym! We look forward to being members for years to come.

The instructors are top notch are very generous with time spent learning the proper mechanics behind each key movement. They have also put safety first and sessions are done with this in mind. Being a new and older student I certainly appreciate their approach. It's also a great workout! Thanks Mike and Becca!

My daughter is extremely happy to be a part of SBG. I have to say I really like the way they teach and interact with the kids. They always have super fun games for the kiddos too. Very happy with the coaches and the flexibility with the classes SBG has and makes it easier for parents too!

5 stars is not enough. It has been such a wonderful and transformative experience for my two littles I will be joining myself here shortly to roll on the mats with the big boys. My youngest are currently enrolled in spider monkeys! The confidence they have gained in such a short period of time is nothing short of amazing, coach Mike & Becca are very compassionate and kind and patient people! I’m truly grateful! Kadyn, has multiple diagnoses. Autism ADHD ETC. so at first I was concerned about how Kadyn would be accepted. From the very first meet n greet even though I was super nervous Mike made the whole process so simple and inviting. Kadyns now doing better in school and I have seen a significant drop is his emotional regulation. All peer interactions are better! There’s a million great things I could say! But if anyone is wondering if this is for them? if they can do it? All I can say is YES you CAN! And you SHOULD! I wish I would have done it sooner! So very thankful! Stripe on!!

We had enrolled our 4 year old daughter here for the Micro Monkeys class and it was just perfect! She always looked forward to her classes with Coach Becca and learned a lot!
