I am the proud owner of a mommy addicted pit bull. Won't leave my side, that is until Jesse shows up to take him to boarding. He leaves with Jesse and doesn't look back. Does that bother me? A little but I realize he must really love being with Jesse and Elizabeth. He is a people loving dog but not so much a dog loving dog. Leaving him with Canine Perspective gives me such peace of mind. I know he will not get into trouble with other dogs. He is not excluded. He is given tread mill time with the other dogs while being in a controlled situation. He is well taken care of when he boards with Canine Perspective. My favorite thing to say is when he is boarding I can go away and not think about him - in other words no worrying. Yes, I still think of him but all good thoughts. Thank you, Canine Perspective Team for a job always well done.

Way better than your average daycare! My large working breed dog always comes home well behaved, tired, obedient, ready for cuddles. In comparison to other daycares where he comes home out of control and still completely full of energy.

We cannot say enough good things about Jesse and the entire Canine Perspective team. Both of our girls completed a week-long board and train program followed by six weeks of continued training, and the experience completely changed the way we understand and support our dogs. One of our dogs, Zuzu, struggles with territorial behavior over food and toys, intense leash reactivity, and aggression toward children and people/ dogs in general. We had tried everything to address her issues to no avail until we started working w/ Canine Perspective.I was especially nervous going into training because Zuzu is a French Bulldog with a history of IVDD, and her back legs do not function fully because of her condition. Jesse was incredibly thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He communicated consistently during the board and train, never pushed Zuzu beyond her physical limits, and thoughtfully adjusted parts of the training to accommodate her mobility challenges.Over t... We service a lot of facilities across Chicago, and this is hands down the most impressive dog daycare and training center we’ve worked in. The kennel is unbelievably clean, calm, and quiet, and you can immediately tell the dogs are structured, fulfilled, and exceptionally well cared for. Seeing dogs confidently working on the treadmills and engaging with trainers instead of nonstop barking chaos is honestly amazing. Truly a professional operation run by people who deeply understand canine behavior and dog training.

I’ve been looking for the best dog daycare in Chicago for a while, and I’m so glad I found this place. As someone who lives in the West Loop, it’s incredibly convenient, but more importantly, their approach to canine behavior is top-notch.Unlike other facilities, they actually focus on structured play and teaching boundaries, which has made a huge difference in my dog’s temperament at home. You can tell the staff are truly professional dog trainers who understand animal psychology, not just supervised play. If you're looking for reliable dog training and daycare in Chicago, I highly recommend them. It’s been a game-changer for our family!

I’ve been with Canine Perspective for a couple of years now as a daycare, boarding and training client. My dog, Tiger, LOVES coming here and I love knowing my dog will be well taken care of while he’s there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the vibe at the facility is super chill. I’m always amazed at how quiet it is there - the dogs are just playing peacefully and having fun (no loud barking!).We just completed their 6-week in-person training with Jesse and it was a great experience. I learned so much and feel confident that I have the skills to keep progressing. And they practice the training skills while Tiger is there which helps reinforce everything we’ve learned. Here’s a pic of Tiger practicing duration and nailing it 😁🧡** I wanted to add this -- One thing I really appreciate about their daycare approach is the structure. Instead of nonstop play, they rotate dogs through playtime, rest, and even treadmill walking -- and for Tiger, it’s been a huge benefit. He comes ... More

We have been using Canine Perspective for Daycare & Boarding since Rummy was a puppy. Jesse & Elizabeth are so nice and care so much for all of the dogs. Rummy loves going and he comes home exhausted every time he goes. We wouldn't send Rummy anywhere else for Daycare or Boarding.

We can’t recommend Canine Perspective enough - Jesse and his team are professional dog handlers. They keep the pack safe while working with each dog’s unique personality. We have a reactive Pitbull who started at CP unable to see another dog without fear taking over. Since going through their program she has become much more confident around new dogs and much happier as a result. She is always excited to go there and we believe it’s because it’s a structured and safe environment where she can socialize, learn, AND it’s so quiet she can actually settle enough to be able to sleep.Thank you CP!

I have been a customer of Canine Perspective since 2022. My rescue dog, Cass, is reactive towards other dogs and requires structure and exercise. Jessie and the Canine Perspective team provide Cass with both in abundance. Before trying Canine Perspective, I did not think Cass could play with other dogs due to his reactivity. However, seeing Cass play with other dogs or exercising on treadmills next to other dogs on the CP socials is a highlight of my day(Jessie & team work wonders!). In addition, I know that they care deeply for all of the dogs entrusted to their care on any given day. We have used Canine Perspective for daycare (Cass loves it and is always so excited to be dropped off), as well as boarding. We trust them implicitly to keep our pup safe, and it gives us peace of mind to know that he is cared for and enriched whether he is at Canine Perspective for, be it for Daycare or Boarding. Thank you so much Jessie, Elizabeth, and the CP Team!
