We had an amazing time fishing with Captain Trey! We booked a 2-hour trip for our two boys, and it couldn’t have been a better way to celebrate our youngest son’s 10th birthday.Our boys are complete beginners, but Captain Trey was incredibly patient and took the time to explain everything in a way they could easily understand. He made them feel comfortable, kept them engaged, and made sure they were having fun from start to finish. His friendly personality and positive attitude made the entire experience even better.The fish just weren’t biting that day, which was simply the luck of the draw and certainly no fault of Captain Trey. Even so, we still managed to catch several catfish, a stingray, and even hooked a small shark that unfortunately broke the line before we could get it in. Despite the slow bite, Captain Trey worked hard to give us a great experience, and we had a fantastic time.If you’re looking for a captain who’s knowledgeable, great with kids, and genuinely enjoys what he does, Captain Trey is the one to book. We would absolutely fish with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly charter!

This is the first time fishing in Florida and wasn’t sure what to expect since the weather forecast was not great. The Captain stayed in constant contact with me, giving updates as the day approached. We decided to play it by ear day of and met at the dock. Despite unfavorable weather and a slow bite, Capt. Trey made sure we found some fish. This was a great reminder that fishing is more than just the catch. It is time away from chaotic schedules and to do lists. It’s tall tales, old stories, and laughing with and at each other. This was truly a memorable day. Thank you Capt.

We went Bay fishing with Trey from Rising Son Expeditions. It was first fishing trip for 8 and 6 year old grandsons. Trey did a nice job coaching them on the basics and being patient with them. It was July 1 and the heat made the fish a little shy but we still had a great time out on the water. Trey worked it hard finding live bait and kept us entertained.

We booked a 4 hour trip with Captain Trey for myself, my dad and my bro-in-law. Trey put us on fish right away and we loaded up on speckled trout and big Redfish. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a great day and had a fresh fish fry later that evening. Couldn’t ask for a better experience! The boys from Texas will be back to fish with Captain Trey again soon!

Took a family trip to Santa Rosa Beach for Memorial Day weekend. I found Captain Trey online and took my two sons and two of their friends out. He immediately has us on fish. The boys enjoyed catching many specs and a few redfish too. I’d definitely use Captain Trey again if I’m in the area.

Captain Trey was awesome! We definitely feel that we got great value for our money. He was very informative, patient and wanted us to have the best time possible. I had never caught anything larger than about 6 inches & it was my first time using a fishing charter service. We were able to catch 2 good sized trout and a couple of other fish. We look forward to using his services again next summer.
