After my gutter clean, I had to clean up some debris left on the ground, not a huge issue although I feel it should be part of the service.My real issue came 2 weeks after the gutter clean at first rain, when one of the downpipes was pouring out water from the top. At first, Thomas said he would come back to take a look but after inspecting a video I sent him, he decided it was silicon and advised to get a handyman. If he had come to inspect, he would have discovered what my brother ended up finding, being debris blocked in the S bend. The gutters were still clear as it had only been about three weeks at that point, so there was no new debris that could have caused the issue as Thomas had also alluded to earlier. After clearing the debris the downpipe is no longer overflowing so the job just wasn’t done properly by SparkleShield.I texted the outcome to Thomas but did not hear back. I will not use SparkleShield again and would not recommend them.EDITED FOLLOWING SPARKLESHIELD"S RESPONSE:I clicked unsure on price as I have no prior experience with gutter cleaning services.The photos I was texted showed clear gutters, but I had no evidence that my downpipes were flowing correctly on completion.I have never met anyone in person from Sparkeshield, I was not even home on the day! They liaised with my neighbour (we live in a duplex), who confirmed she did not walk my property and just noted she was happy with the work based on the photos. I picked up black debris off my concrete and green bin after SparkleShield left, which as I said wasn't a huge issue, just should've been part of the service.There is one neighbouring tree closeby at the front corner of the property but is not overhanging the roof as you can see in the photo I took standing directly below the roof corner. Our building is quite long extending to the back and there are no trees hanging directly over the roof, nor near the guttering where the blocked downpipe was (as can be seen in the other attached photo). The gutters were still clear three weeks later when we discovered the debris blocking the S bend. Thomas would have discovered this himself if he had come back to check his work, instead of dismissing the issue.My review of Sparkleshield is accurate of the service (or lack of) that I was provided.
