From start to finish, John and his crew, did an excellent job of designing and executing the two projects he did for us. Always on time and ready to work. I had come up with a preliminary plan for our outdoor stairs and patio projectss and he pretty much took it from there and ran with it. Once we described the project, he offered suggestions based on our vision and his past experience with other projects. John is a talented carpenter, craftsman, and woodworker. I hired him to build a side garden gate and small deck in my backyard. I sent John a few photos of gates that I liked. He sketched out a drawing. The gate was built quickly and installed. It turned out so well, I decided not to paint it white and just have it sealed. The deck came next. The challenge: I wanted it to curve and mimic the existing paver path so it looked like it had always belonged there and part of the design. A rectangular deck would have been simpler and less expensive; however it would have looked like it was plonked down as an afterthought. I'm very happy with the outcome of both projects and I'm already thinking about built-in bookshelves for my office.
