Such a fantastic experience at this office! Had a minor procedure done that went exceptionally well!! Was overwhelmed by the hospitality we received from our first interaction with the tech/assistant “Sheeva” — she’s extremely personable and everyone in the medical field can take notes from her kind ways. Dr. West who performed the procedure was also the most personable doctor I’ve dealt with in my entire life. A doctor that actually cares and you can feel it. Thank you again to you both. — I will add that whomever the older woman that deals with answering calls and calling to confirm appointments is EXTREMELY unpersonable and will talk to you in a condescending way. Get past that awful interaction and then it’s smooth sailing.

I can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Dustin McKnight and the Hunkeler Eye Institute - and the Overland Park Surgical Center. Dr. McKnight was very kind, patient with my questions, and outstanding in performing my eye surgery. All supportive staff were equally pleasant and excellent too. Totally recommend them to others.Update: After having highly successful cataract surgery, I just had the YAG laser touch up procedure. Sometimes the back of lens can get cloudy. Laser touch up opens a pinpoint hole to improve vision. I can see so well now without glasses - it’s incredible! Almost perfect vision without glasses. I can’t get over the detail, the beauty, the capacity to see colors vividly. I am so grateful. Excellent medical group!

They will try.To charge you when it really isn't necessary for a follow up appointment with your optometrist. The amount is two hundred dollars. This is after cataract surgery.I protested the payment and I was reimbursed that money. They try to get you wherever they can with extra payments. The surgery itself went well.

This clinic, its employees, and Dr. Midnight deserve nothing but the highest respect. I came here with my mother for an eye operation. Both the staff and the doctor were really pleasant to speak with and very courteous and patient. As he responded to our inquiries, he gave us his undivided attention. All of my mother's medical needs would be met if I had him. I wish all providers would be like him.

Dr McKnight is the best! Went to 5 different doctors and he was the only one that was truthful about what I needed and didn't try to upsell me tto a $10,000 surgery. I can see perfectly now! He even did a follow-up call at 9pm the night of my surgery! He's THE BEST!! Thank you Dr. McKnight!
