The staff are very supportive and knowledgeable, and always ready to help keep you on track with advice about technique.

I am exceedingly lucky to be a fully-funded DVA client of Club Active at Parkwood. Three times a week I see two awesome dieticians, two awesome exercise physiologists for resistance training, two awesome physiotherapists for rehabilitation work, and one awesome social worker. All for absolutely zero fees. Thank you DVA, thank you Club Active, Parkwood. Sensing I was under lifestyle stressors due to a difficult telephone call with my insurers, the extremely caring dietician came over to me and gave me a huge hug and reassured me that everthing would be ok. This dietician with extremely high emotional intelligence went out of her way and out of her narrow job description and immediately referred me to the social worker on staff at Club Active. That is next level caring and concern for the client and reflects the whole client-focused, caring and extremely supportive ethos and culture of this particular gym. This place has the most supportive and caring club culture imaginable and the new bunch of staff are all amazing individuals who care deeply about their clients. There is no bullshit here, only genuine care and concern. Special mention must go to Stacey the dietician, who will go way beyond sorting out your diet to trying her best to sort out your entire screwed up lifestyle and life. God bless her for trying so hard but sometimes it is a lost cause. I now think of Stacey as my life coach and turn to her when I need a good pump up and motivational speech. Special mention also to Zac, the brand new physiotherapist who is an awesome, friendly dude who always wants the best for you. Drew oversees the whole operation and he is an absolute legend who goes out of his way to help you as a client secure the times you want and you need. Missing a session, making up a lost session, adding a new session is all not a problem for Drew. He will sort it for you in a heartbeat. The fellow members of this gym are extremely friendly and a very close bunch of people who are always up for a good chat. Such a wonderful culture and vibe, such a wonderful gym. This represents a 6-Star review.

Great staff - they are always friendly and very happy to offer advice and support. Personalised exercise plans that take into account your current capabilities and what you are hoping to achieve. Highly recommend.
