On top of that we did different heights on the sides and back of the yard. Lastly, our yard is far from level and the slope worried us quite a bit at first. But it shouldn’t have, as the job their crew did in our yard turned out wonderful!It’s also important to note that we aren’t the simplest customers to deal with ourselves as we were spending our hard earned money and are a bit particular about what we want. I needed to have my condo deck replaced after 29 years. I was aware that lumber costs have risen over the past few years but I was in no way prepared for the quotes that came through. It is a standard condo deck, nothing fancy and I didn't even need to have the railings done as my association takes care of that. I was disappointed with the quotes that were coming in (if I could even get anyone to call back). A Google search pulled up Town Fence so I called and left a message not really expecting a call back. Adam's (owner) wife called me back promptly and was so sweet and made an appointment for Adam to come and quote the job. Adam was prompt and personable and I immediately liked him. The quote came in a few days later and it was (finally) within budget. The job was completed last week and although Adam was not available to do the work, the 2 men that did the job were awesome. I was recommended Town Fence via a Facebook group.Adam came out to give me an estimate, super nice and professional guy. My neighbors already had a fence on one side so I wanted to gate the one side and redo the gate and fence on the other side and potentially the back of the yard. Adam told me that there was no need to redo the back of the yard as it was solid so instead of trying to upsell me he encouraged keeping the existing fence which was nice and a money saver.I was able to communicate with Adam and his wife throughout the whole process; they were prompt and provided everything we asked for including estimates, certificate of insurance, and waiver of lien for materials.The crew that came out was very nice and efficient. Most notably, when I asked about the height of the gate on the one side lining up with the height of my neighbor's fence, the person who appeared to be the leader of the crew didn't understand due to a language barrier; but he got someone on FaceTime so I could speak to them and he could tell the crew what I was saying which I greatly appreciated that he was willing to take the time to do that.Shortly after the project was over and had been paid for, I noticed one of the gates was dragging on the ground, probably due to the wood settling so I contacted Adam about it; within a couple days the crew was back out and adjusted the gate so it wasn't dragging anymore.Overall, very satisfied with the company and the finished product! I got estimates from four different companies in the area and all of them were beat out by Town Fence by at least $1000. Highly recommend this company to anyone in the area! Less

If I could break-up this review I'd give Adam and his wife, Jill, 5-stars. Unfortunately, the subcontracting crew that came to install the fence would receive < 3-stars.I really appreciate the above and beyond Jill and Adam did for us. We picked TOWN over 4 other quotes due to Adam's openness, candidness, and transparency during the quoting process. Plus, my dad and I throughly researched the fence and found the Echleon to be the better option of the two brands we were looking at. When we were about to make the final decision, Adam repriced the fence and made it much more competitive with another offer we were considering. He put up with my monthly (or even more, once the yard started getting marked for sewer and electrical) emails on the status of the Aluminum fence pieces.We have received so many compliments on the fence. And, it's given us an ease of mind with our almost 4-month old puppy who needs the secure space to run aroundHowever, If you are doing this for the first time and first-time home owners, like we are, I'd recommend talking through and asking questions about what's included in the whole process and service.Unfortunately, we had a bit of back and forth about the clean-up from digging the post holes. I should have asked Adam to have the crew come back clean up the start of the conversation. However, instead we tried taking on that responsibility and that caused more unnecessary stress for all parties. Luckily, he was able to get the crew come back and hull away as much as they could from what was left in the yard.I saw another review mention a similar situation we went through. I'm curious if they also went with the aluminum fence and had the same subcontracting crew come to their place. We did have plastic back, screws, bags of screws and some metal left throughout the yard. Which caused some additional frustration just from having to chase down the puppy to get it out of his mouth, because he found would find things before we could. In addition, the crew wasn't as communicative as I would have like them to be. They didn't give us any status updates outside of letting us know they were there the first day.Regardless, Adam and Jill were apologetic about the situation. Adam said he'd have a talk with the crew that came about the trash left around the yard and even had them fix a spot on the fence that was a bit uneven/short on one side on the panel. Jill even stopped by to pick up the final check and took a quick look at the fence. Again, they went the extra mile and I am very appreciative of that. Less

We had our fence blown down by some of the big wind storms late in 2019. After working with insurance and quoting several fence companies we chose Town. I liked the idea of working with a local, small business. Adam and his wife were very responsive and worked with me on my project. For example, to create more longevity in the fence we were able to use steel posts and kiln dried treated rails instead of just cedar.
