Excellent client service and work. They are well equipped and staffed, communicate easily, explain things well, solve any problems promptly, and are pleasant and easy to deal with. They broke up, pulled up, and replaced the old concrete in the apron in front of a free-standing garage and part of the adjoining driveway where a very valuable shade tree had buckled the paving, framed the area, and poured and smoothed new concrete over gravel and reinforcing metal screens -- about a four-day job on a residential project. There was a pause in the work for rain, and they started back promptly. Part of the job was to protect the roots of the tree, which they did by spraying a protective coating on areas that had been scraped, adding a cushion of sand and gravel, and then contouring the new pavement on a gentle slope over a large root. Some stairs on a deck had been added over part of the apron and had to be removed so the concrete could be removed and the stairs reset; it required some grunty work in light rain to trim and shim and reinstall them, which all got done quite well. Note that curing takes time -- about a day to walk on it; about a week to ten days to drive on it. After the apron was reinstalled and curing we discovered a chip off the edge on one side; possibly caused when the framing was removed. I e-mailed Bobby over the week-end and Rodney came and fixed it on Monday morning. In short, they are really good and we are really happy about it all.
