😀 - Beautiful remote and quiet location, very cozy and comfortable lodges that were set up and decorated with great care and provided everything we could have hoped for to the last detail. Loved the cowboy theme and private hot tub in a snowy winter setting! We would have loved to stay longer than just one night.

This was our third visit to Montana Hill Guest Ranch — once in the fall and twice in the winter — and both seasons are absolutely magical.The hospitality from ranch owners Elaine and Al is truly exceptional. They make every stay feel personal and welcoming. Our excursions have been fantastic each time, from horseback riding through the beautiful fall landscape to snowmobiling across the winter wonderland. One of the most unique experiences was making fresh mozzarella using milk from their Jersey cow right on the property — such a special touch!This year, we treated ourselves to the steak dinner, which was unforgettable: bacon-wrapped filet mignon, potato wedges, beer bread, salad, dessert, and a delicious cheese plate. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious.We also enjoyed snowshoeing through the woods, exploring the property, and making friends with the ranch animals — truly special moments. And as wonderful as the activities are, the downtime is just as memorable. Relaxing in our cozy cabin, watching some of the many great DVDs available, and unwinding with a glass of bubbly in the hot tub on our front porch was the perfect way to end each day.We highly recommend Montana Hill Guest Ranch and are already looking forward to returning to this peaceful, tranquil oasis.

We had a *wonderful* stay here! The cabin was perfect - super comfortable bed and pillows (both perfectly firm, no mush!), warm, and lovely to stay in. We did the snowmobiling excursion and it was great fun too - riding around on top of a frozen lake was incredible! And the 2-person hot tub on the cabin deck was fabulous.We will absolutely be back.

We stayed for a long weekend (2 nights) at Montana Hill Guest Ranch and it was perfect! Al and Elaine were fantastic hosts, so warm and welcoming and we can’t wait to visit again. Their homemade burgers were amazing. It was my birthday and they made me feel so special - Elaine even made me a super tasty cake! Al was an awesome snowmobile guide and it was truly the highlight of our weekend. Our cabin was well equipped, cosy and exactly what we wanted with a private hot tub as a bonus! We loved their sweet cats too!

Without a doubt Montana Hill Guest Ranch is my favorite resort in BC!! A scenic half day’s drive from Vancouver – or for me from the Okanagan – this location is thriving with beauty, peace and relaxation as well as being an incredible base camp for exploring the many lakes in the area. The highlight for me is the hot tub on the deck!! Having a fully self-contained cozy cabin with a clean kitchenette, private bedroom, bathroom AND a BBQ on the deck beside the hot tub is my idea of a vacation! The fridge is a bit small if you are visiting in the summer, although the main lodge has many amenities to assist with your comfort. The ranch is so pleasant to explore – with very friendly horses – and Al and Elaine are wonderful hosts! Oh yes, and farm fresh eggs too. While Montana Hill Guest Ranch can be fully enjoyed at any time of the year, my favorite is the colorful autumn season with the deep blue sky – enjoying a soak in the hot tub in the sunshine or, with a huge starry night sky.

😀 - It was super quiet and beautiful. Perfect winter getaway. The only thing is that if you want to come in winter, you need a 4x4 and winter tires. It literally is a must 😞 - NA
