I recently had the absolute pleasure to stay here for a solo birthday trip to disconnect from busy city life and reconnect with nature. This place is absolutely breathtaking from the views, to the animals, to the people who run it. The most stunning part is the night and the amount of stars you can see. The cabins are rustic with a hot tub, bbq, kitchenette and Western decor. There's trails you can hike, ax throwing, and feed the animals. I miss Rusty the horse already. Highly recommend for a solo, couple, or group trip as they operate year round. 10/10

I’m honestly at a loss for words. Our stay at Montana Hill Guest Ranch this June was the best part of our 3-week road trip in Canada. The setting, the cabins, the grounds, the animals and most of all the hosts Al & Elaine were simply breathtaking. Had we known this before planning and booking our accomodations we would have spent way more time here.We truly had one of the most memorable experiences of our lives and if we somehow can find the time and possibility we will return for a much longer stay in the future.

We stayed at Montana Guest Hill Ranch for two nights. The cabin has everything one needs ... along with great DVDs! We enjoyed walking to the lakes and had the opportunity to feed baby calves with milk bottles, and my husband even tried axe throwing. For dinner, we had a delicious steak from the farm along with a very nice Merlot from BC. We also enjoyed a Maple syrup aged in Bourbon barrels! Elaine and Al create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and make you feel like more than just a visitor. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Montana Guest Hill Ranch. 😀 - The location is stunning and so peaceful. You could not want for anything, particularly whilst enjoying a soak in the hot tub on the deck of the cabin. Trees rustling mere steps away and stars above soothe the soul.
