Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf der Montana Hill Ranch sehr genossen. Nach den vielen Wanderungen und den intensiven Tagen in den Rocky Mountains war das genau der richtige Ort, um etwas zur Ruhe zu kommen und einfach zu entspannen.Die Umgebung ist wunderschön. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man zu Fuss einen kleinen See, an dem wir ganz alleine waren. Jedes Cabin hat zudem einen eigenen Whirlpool. Den haben wir mehrmals genutzt und sehr genossen.Auch die Tiere auf der Ranch machen den Aufenthalt besonders. Man merkt, dass das Ehepaar die Ranch mit viel Herzblut führt. Es war schön, sich mit ihnen zu unterhalten und mehr über das Leben auf der Ranch zu erfahren.Ein weiteres Highlight war das Abendessen. Der Burger aus Fleisch von der Ranch war hervorragend. Dass alle Gäste gemeinsam an einem grossen Tisch essen, hat uns ebenfalls gefallen. So kommt man ganz unkompliziert mit anderen Reisenden ins Gespräch.Die Einrichtung der Cabins ist rustikal und sehr verspielt. Das ist Geschmackssache, hat aber gut zur Ranch gepasst.Wer ein paar ruhige Tage in der Natur verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Elaine, Al, and their staff were really warm and welcoming! It was always easy to find them on the ranch to help, including starting nightly fires and our horse riding lesson.I went on this trip with 3 of my girlfriends and really enjoyed the time to disconnect and spend quality time with each other. We stayed in the larger Heritage Farmhouse - it was charming. There's an upstairs not pictured online with all the beds in one room; we had 4 single beds.The cabin had our cooking needs, we just brought food and spices. We cooked most of our meals (including the farm fresh eggs!), save for the one of the steak nights with Elaine and Al. That meal was really farm to table with fresh greens from their greenhouse and Elaine's homemade bread.There were tons of activities within our cabin. We enjoyed the games, VHS movies, and puzzles. I thought I would have more time to be bored!! We happened to be in town for the bridge lake rodeo and got to enjoy that as well. :)Thanks so much for the lovely stay.Adding a short video of our 3 nights 🫶🏻🤠

Had a wonderful time at the Montana Hills ranch! The hosts are warm and helpful, the food was awesome. The cabins were very well maintained and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay (loved the private hot tub!). And the animals (cows, calves, horses, ponies, chickens, cats) are a joy...well taken care of and well loved, almost like pets. But maybe the best part is the ability to relax, unwind, and disconnect...just going for a walk, a trail ride, renting a boat on a nearby lake, having a swim. Highly recommend!

😀 - Fantastic lodge in a brilliant location. Can't see a property for miles! The quiet is lovely and peaceful. The lodges are very well equipped and the furniture lovely. The lodge had everything you could want and the hot tub is a lovely added bonus. Opportunity to get up close to the animals was great for the kids. We had a lovely time and wish we could have stayed longer. 😞 - Nothing.
