Five stars for Dr. Hamilton and his team! I'm really glad that I chose Dr. Hamilton for my RLE eye surgery with a light adjustable lens. My situation was delicate because I had a previous RK surgery on the same eye, and the healing took longer than typical. Dr. Hamilton explained the whole process clearly from the beginning, and did an excellent job. He is also personable and kind, which matters a lot to me. The office is calm and nice and was never crowded. This matters too because it made the whole experience easier and more comfortable. I am happy with the results of my surgery, and now I'm able to see without needing reading glasses! RLE surgery was a game changer. If you're considering it, I recommend going to Dr. Hamilton.

I both had a great surgical outcome and was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Hamilton’s ability to empathize and listen to a patient’s concerns and preferences. I am not the typical cataract patient. I am 38 years old and I had an advanced posterior subcapsular cataract that basically made me blind in my left eye in a short period of time. Dr. Hamilton’s practice was able to schedule me for a surgical consultation the week after I had called. Because my cataract was so advanced, it was difficult to even get a measurement of my eye for the new lens but through the skillful work and patience of his staff, they were able to get one. Dr. Hamilton conveyed that my surgery was going to be riskier than usual but that he had a plan to mitigate the risk to ensure a good outcome.When it came down to lens choice, I had done a lot of research and I had a preference for a specific lens if I was a candidate for it. My lens choice was not the same lens that Dr. Hamilton recommended. He took the time to explain why he thought his recommendation was the right choice and explained the tradeoffs between the lenses. Dr. Hamilton listened to my response and said he was willing to use the lens I wanted. The surgery was scheduled for two weeks later and 20 minutes after surgery, my vision in my operated eye had gone from barely being able to see someone’s fingers two feet in front of my face to seeing about 20/30 and reading small print. At my follow-up appointment, my eye was seeing better than 20/20 and reading 5 point font in low light clearer than my non-operated eye, which has excellent vision. Dr. Hamilton was impressed with the outcome and thanked me for convincing him to use the lens I preferred. I am impressed by a doctor who is willing to listen, reflect, and learn. I am also grateful for his obvious surgical skill and proficiency with the latest surgical technology that allowed me to have such a great outcome. The responsiveness of the practice staff made the process easier as well.

Dr. Rex Hamilton changed my life. His whole Office / Staff are the most professional people I’ve ever come across. Mayra, Will, and Jasmine will make sure you feel comfortable and educated before meeting the doctor. Dr. Rex Hamilton did my lasik eye surgery with such high level precision. He truly makes you feel like family and there was absolutely no pain during or after the surgery. I was -3 astigmatism and now I have 20/15 vision, which is better than 20/20!! Thank you doctor!

If you are considering eye surgery I implore you to read this. I have had 3 eye surgeries in the past 2 years due to having a genetic condition called Fuchs. I had both cataracts replaced and corneas transplanted. The right eye came out perfectly but the left eye had double vision. There was no explanation nor straightforward treatment. Thankfully my surgeon was a student’s of Dr Hamilton’s and he insisted I make the 2 hour drive to see him. Best decision I ever made. The complexity of my Contoura PRK did not became apparent to me until the day of the surgery. Upon my arrival the surgery center knew who I was because the manufacturer had to have 2 technicians specially calibrate the machine for my PRK and I found out later Dr Hamilton had held multiple forums regarding my surgery. The amazing thing about this was I was never aware of the complexities or charged a premium. The results are absolutely far better than I could Hope for and I can not say with enough conviction that this Dr and Staff saved my vision. I recommend them with absolute confidence.

Dr Hamilton is in my opinion the best surgeon in Los Angeles California very kind person and professional he really explained everything to me about my condition and the procedure and trust me I searched a lot before I made my decision. I seen different doctors even tried to get lasik before chosing RLE which I was not convinced any way he gave me the confidence and trust to feel comfortable to pick him as my surgeon. I totally recommend him 100% to anyone ,he really changed my life thank you so much Dr Hamilton now I can play with my daughters and not depend of glasses for the rest of my life by the way I’m 45 years old

What a great, highly trained doctor, Rex Hamilton. I had surgery with the Odyssey IOL one year ago. Right after the first eye surgery, my world became so bright, one eye at a time. I noticed leaf veins on trees. After windy days, I thought there were many tiny branches on the street, but they were actually withered, yellow flowers from the trees. Oh my goodness, I had missed so many things I couldn’t see well. I have been wearing contact lenses for over 30 years, and for the last 10 years, multifocal lenses. No more. What a bright world. I should have met the super Dr. Rex Hamilton much earlier. I highly recommend Dr. Rex Hamilton for the Odyssey IOL. Finally, I have mentioned his staff: Everyone is warm, thoughtful, and knowledgeable.One year has passed, and I have one problem: I can see my wrinkles so clearly.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr Hamilton and his staff. I walked in with terrible vision and astigmatism and today I have excellent sight and none of those double vision issues. And I don’t need contacts or glasses at all. The whole EVO ICL process was easy, painless, and effortless. They answered every question and explained all my options. I feel lucky to have found them!
