My son and I had a wonderful, life-changing experience on camp with Rick and his amazing brother Perry. Rick and Perry are such humble, strong men, who have so much to give in terms of skills, knowledge and wisdom, and are so generous in sharing. We also had a visit from Nathan, an absolutely quality man, and wonderful role model for my son. Working with Rick from concept until completion of our camp was an incredible experience. The level of care, time, detail and expertise to make our Mission Australia Camp a huge success was amazing. We took 6 teenagers, from extremely rough backgrounds and complex circumstances, out for 4 days and 3 nights and I'm still hearing great feedback from the boys and their parents at how lifechanging this was for them. Rick not only shared his extensive survival skill knowledge with us but also imparted impactful life lessons that will stay with the boys forever. His ability to adapt to his audience and provide an engaging experience in any setting not only shows his professionalism to the work but more importantly for us, his passion for people and the environment. We have already re-connected with Rick to plan our next two camps and will continue to work with him long into the future. Rick ran an engaging bush survival workshop at our property over Christmas. We asked Rick to run a private bush survival day for our community of young families. We felt very privileged to have him share his knowledge and experience with us. We've been attending various workshops and offering from Rick over the last 5 years. We have 2 sons now 10yo and 8yo but started taking part In Ricks world when they were 5yo and 3yo. We saw the gap in our modern society and instantly knew that what Rick offers and teaches is so valuable in a boys childhood.
