We recently used Sanibel Taxi for our recent trip to Sanibel. The website makes it easy to get a quote and schedule. We received messages/calls the day before each ride to let us know who would be picking us up. Michael picked us up from the airport and I had a text from him as soon as we landed (early) letting me know that he was there. Dave picked us up at 5:45am for our return flight. He was on time and so personable! We would recommend Sanibel Taxi to our friends and family but if we could, I would request Dave again any day!

We own a large property management company in the Carolina’s and understand that Google reviews are the backbone of our business.The old reviews on this profile are from previous ownership and not indicative of the organization now. Let me tell you, Heather and Brian saved us last Saturday! Being from far out of town, we unknowingly took at Uber over to Turner Beach. The Uber driver failed to tell us that neither Uber, or any of the other companies would come onto the island unless you were being taken to the airport (all about the Benjamin’s).We were in a panic, especially after speaking with a Lee County Sheriffs deputy who gave us this bad news. He suggested we contact Sanibel Airport Taxi. Brian was there to pick us up in less than 15 minutes and got us back safely.I cannot say enough about how amazingly kind and polite they were to us. God bless you all and thank you again so very much for helping us out of an extremely dire situation.

Our flight was delayed and finally canceled, but the driver was a true class act. Even thought enough to take us by local ice cream place that was delicious and eventually made sure that we were taken care of so we can find our way home. I would highly recommend them.

I can't say enough excellent things about this service from start to finish. Because of a storm I was trying to get on an earlier plane but wouldn't know until the morning. Heather was kind and accommodating and made it seem no problem. My plane was an hour late. Again no problem. Rob picked me up in a beautiful Tesla and we had a delightful chat. I needed to pick something, again no problem. I just hope I left a big enough tip. There aren't many services like this anymore. Price totally reasonable. Having used another car service before, there is absolutely no comparison! This is a 5-star service!!!

My wife had a late flight that was delayed to where she didn't arrive til almost 2 in the morning. I cannot drive at night due to my diminishing eye sight so I relied on Sanibel taxi.Heather is so sweet and takes away all the stress of needing a ride so late at night. My wife said her driver Alex went beyond that of a driver. He offered to stop and get her food since it was late and she traveled all day, and when she got to our home he not only brought all her luggage to the door, but waited until she was able to find our key and get inside and.promised he'd stay untIl she was safely inside.Great company, great experience. Sanibel Island Taxi provided us with the best "service experience" that I can recall. When an online service failed us multiple times, Heather from Sanibel Island Taxi jumped in and ensured a safe and enjoyable trip. But get this, the last minute ride she arranged for us late late one night was with one of her competitors! She had no drivers available. She called around for us and setup the ride and then followed up later to make sure we made it home safely. Thank you Heather!

In the 10+ years that I have been using Sanibel Taxi, their personnel has always been professional and reliable. The vehicles are always clean and dependable.I talked to Heather to find out the status of construction on the causeway in order to figure when to leave for a medical appointment off island. She and one of her drivers, who happened to just made that same run that morning, were more than helpful with advice. (Leave 1-1/2 hours before the appointment. “Just in case.”)

When my husband was unwell, they provided timely transportation to the doctor, the hospital, the pharmacy, not to mention brief stop for shopping on the mainland. Don't let the reviews on here fool you!! Most of the negative one's are from years ago, Not sure if there is new management but Sanibel Taxi was extremely reliable and very accommodating to my boyfriend & I. Alfred was our driver and he was very informative on everything to do on the Island and very personable! He waited to hold the door for us and was extremely kind. Not to mention punctual, We were shocked by how fast he arrived & how he was waiting for us right when we were scheduled to leave the beach. If you're looking for a way around the Island this is a very safe bet & always a pleasurable experience.
