I always visit this store when I'm in town. The owner, Dee, is so humble that I didnt even know she's the owner! I honestly thought she was one of the employees as she walks around helping and doing so much. She's pleasant to talk to and her staff is also very sweet. There's a man who works there who I remember from last year when he was showing my son and I a card game. There are also some ladies who work there, who are very sweet with my kids. I also had a misunderstanding with a staff member yesterday as I was a bit in my own head and didn't realize what was actually going on and, for that, I apologize. I hope we can continue to come in and see you and chat. My kids told me they like coming to your store and I also love it. It feels like a safe space. Dee, I think you may have been the one to suggest patchwork to us 10 years ago before we even had kids!

I love playing board games and come in here with my husband and kids repeatedly. We've been supporting this business for about a decade and spent hundreds of dollars here. My kids even bring their little purse and wallet and buy things. I soooo wanted to give 5 stars, but I just can't after what happened yesterday 😕. The lady who helped us a couple days ago by explaining Cat Earth to us (which we ended up buying and playing multiple times!) was in there again. BTW, she has such a delightfully kind demeanor and seems so willing to help! Anyways, she was helping us with more games and this time was explaining Cascadia alternatives. One of the ladies in there seemed shook already by us being in there, but made it extra obvious by saying to the delightful lady who was helping us, "there are customers who need your help." I'd like to ask: why were the other customers more important to you? Why did you pull her away from helping us? I sooooo dont want to assume it has to do with the fact that our family looked different from everyone else's, but I really dont know why you'd do that, especially when there were 2 other staff who were there. I was so put off that I decided not to get the game I wanted and just left. Please understand, we are all living on indigenous land.

I've been coming to this game store for years and I'm glad to see it's doing well. I first came here with my wife where the staff helped us pick out a game. They recommended Patchwork and we've been playing it for over a decade since. The staff always have games they have out to demonstrate (which is how we ended up with Cat Earth!) and they're very good at recommending new games. Their prices are also very reasonable, especially given how it's the only game store around here. The staff are also very good with kids. It's always a pleasure coming into this store even if I don't have anything to buy.
