We can’t say enough good things about this shop! They have got us out off a pickle a couple of times now and even on short notice. Our truck was giving us some major starting issues and no other shop was willing to take the time to even just give a quick diagnostic check except for them. We were even scheduled at a Ford place that day for an oil change and they wouldn’t look at it beyond what we had an appointment for. Needless to say we canceled that appointment and limped our vehicle over to Checkered Flag they got it in and gave us a few ideas from codes. We’ve had 2 bad experiences with other shops in Saskatoon now and no one is getting our business going forward except for Checkered Flag! Thank you for being an honest and trustworthy business! Top notch service. I needed both front CV axels replaced on my truck and the guys a checkerd flag got me in right away to have it done on the same day, just in time for me to get back home for the Christmas holidays. Super friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

I had my vehicle serviced at Checkered Flag Automotive back in October and was originally planning to switch to what I considered my “winter tires,” which were actually all-season tires. During that visit, Patrick from Daryl’s team called to ask a few simple questions about my driving habits and the tires I planned to use. Based on that conversation, he was able to clearly explain why that choice wouldn’t be the safest option for winter driving.He recommended switching to studded winter tires, and I am so grateful I took that advice. With the amount of snow and icy conditions we’ve experienced this season, those tires have genuinely made a difference in how secure I feel on the road. I really appreciated the transparency and care shown by Daryl and his team — they took the time to educate me and put safety first. I have nothing but great things to say about their shop and the people who work there.
