It was our first time eating at the restaurant first of all we were a bit early but the friendly staff said it didn’t matter she explained about the Sunday lunch she said we could have small medium or large portions we ordered and we weren’t disappointed food 10 out 10 the chef came out with pork crackling said he was sorry it wasn’t on the plate I have eaten in some restaurants but I must say that it is very good and not over pricedWill be there again

Bottomless brunch was fabulous, Rachel who served us was amazing such a lovely girl, nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent and portions good, drinks were flowing and the atmosphere was great a real buzz. A great afternoon would definately go again and highly recommend.

Came for afternoon tea with friends. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty, and the cheese scone was probably the best I’ve ever had! The cakes were a little bit bland though that’s probably down to personal taste. Service was fantastic - quick, attentive and friendly, even when the place got busier. I felt the décor is a little dull since the revamp, and the room was fairly cold.Overall a lovely occasion, but please please sort out the tarmac on the car park - the potholes are absolutely awful!

Came here yesterday for afternoon tea for a 90th birthday, and the two girls who served us were welcoming and very friendly they made my 5-year-old daughter feel very included which she doesn't often get when we eat out, as usual our afternoon tea was lovely I forgot how nice their warm scones were from last time we visited, we will be back!

First time I've been but certainly not the last. Food was gorgeous and cooked perfectly. The staff were efficient, friendly and provided excellent service.

Excellent Champaign Drunch, champagne flowed for 90 mins no problems with top ups, such good value. Great food and atmosphere, staff great and our waitress Lily was a star.

Amazing experience, couldn't do enough for us

I came for an Afternoon Tea with my 19 year old son for his Birthday yesterday and we loved it.Lovely staff and surroundings . I also came for the Christmas Grinch afternoon tea and my daughter and me loved it .The quality of food is always first class and a lovely treat .The Parkmore is such a special place . I had my sons christening reception here .

Recently booked a table at the Purple Peacock for my daughters 13th birthday for her and 9 friends and both the food and service was amazing!! The young girl who served us throughout the evening couldn't have been more helpful. The girls were very impressed with the portion size of there pizza and cheesy garlic bread. Would definitely recommend the Thai fishcakes!! Will definitely be booking in again soon.

Food very nice. Especially the tasty sandwiches for vegetarian. Generous portions and boxes to take home spare cakes. Unlimited tea and milk refills. Good value and free plentiful parking. Only downsides, not clotted cream with thescones and venue so loud and echoey especially with loud groups in, we struggled to hear each other and there were only 3 of us!!

Had a fabulous evening at The Purple Peacock, service was exceptional. We initially went just to give their cocktails a try and had a few small plates as well which were just enough. Would highly recommend 👌 and can't wait to go back 💯
