I was super pleased with the movers, they were very polite and packed everything very thoroughly. Nothing was broken!! A couple of pieces of furniture was nicked up, which is expected but nothing that couldn't be fixed up. Overall I would hire them again!

My aunt passed and left my family her condo, but due to logistical, time and travel constraints we decided to ship a majority of her things to San Diego and find alternate junk removal/renovations.Communicaitons were good and the estimate was fast and affordable. I'd use them again for moving/large shipping out of the midwest.I find over communication, documentation are very helpful in dealing with movers. It keeps everyone accountable as I was also dealing with the building/property management and approvals for all outside vendors.There was a time when I was considering moving from San Diego into the condo in Chicago and would probably have used Allied/Federal again, but it's not often I get to reccomend their services as my situation is a little unique. Overpaying isn't what comes to mind all this time later thinking back on doing business with them becuase of all the services, assurances and communications I had with Paul. It's professionalism and accuracy, even down to taggin each item and tracking.

Kyle (relocation consultant) and Julie (our move implementation specialist) both went above and beyond to assure that our move went as smoothly as possible. They even scrambled to make sure all went well after an early snowstorm dumped several inches of snow on our moving day.The crew who packed, loaded and unloaded our belongings were meticulous and careful throughout the process; they took much care to make sure that my antiques arrived safe and sound.Recommend this company most highly.
