I attended my first service at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church this past Sunday and was truly impressed. It’s a vibrant, welcoming, and genuinely inclusive community with so many opportunities not only to learn, grow, and serve, but also to truly belong. From worship to small groups and outreach, it’s clear that St. Luke’s offers meaningful ways to connect and be part of a living, active community. I felt at home right away and look forward to returning.

St. Luke’s UMC is hands down the most loving, Christ-centered, and welcoming church I have ever experienced. There is so much sense of community and love in this place. Pastors Jenn, Jad, and Melissa are incredible, and my heart connected with them and their sermons immediately. I never knew a church could be so welcoming. They are helping me heal my relationship with the church, and I will forever be grateful for them. I am a relatively new St. Luker, but I am so happy to be a part of such a wonderful community.

I stepped away from the church in recent years. I have watched church communities I grew up in only love those that were in the walls of the church buildings and others that agreed with them rather than the community around it and caring about the cries of those outside of the church walls like Christ calls us to which is not what we were taught to do. I am grateful to have found a church community to belong to that truly cares about their community without judgement or prejudice at St. Luke's UMC here in Orlando. From playing with them in services to joining them for musicals like Big Fish this summer- this is a family of believers that has provided a new church home for me.

St. Luke's is truly a place for all. They are kind, compassionate, and care about community and spreading Christ's love into the world. I have been involved in many events and shows at the church over the years and grew up in the church the first 9 years of my life with my Mom being a Pastor there. After moving away I always longed to come back as it truly feels like a home for me. If you are looking for kind, accepting folks to share faith, friendships, and fun experiences with this is the place for you!
