Sketchy/UNTRUSTWORTHY! DO NOT RECOMMEND. not trustworthy at all the work looks like sh!t as wellDO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! If Huber runs this place like he did his last company that he sold before he could get into legal trouble. this place will ruin everything you own and not care about the customer. here are the damages huber made and his message to me, a customer this has not a thing to do with the consteuction company but everything to do with the owner. if he is okay with ruining someone's vehicle and leaving a company or just selling off the name to avoid legal action. this man is not trustworthy to do business with.

Northern Sky Builders built another room, bathroom and storage room for me. They did an EXCELLENT job. Always showed up, built to code, high quality craftsmanship. HIGHLY recommend.

Huber and his crew built us a deck in Truckee and did a beautiful job. I especially appreciated how Huber was so responsive to any questions or concerns. The crew obviously took a lot of pride in their work which showed through in the lovely finished product.

I was referred to Northern Sky Builders by a trusted vendor I worked with during a remodeling project, who had consistently positive experiences recommending them to clients in the Tahoe area. Of the five contractors I reached out to, Huber from Northern Sky Builders stood out as the most responsive and professional — his estimates were clear, timely, and well thought out. While our project didn’t finish exactly on the original timeline due to weather-related delays, Huber’s crew went above and beyond to make up for lost time, even working weekends to keep things on track. What truly impressed me, though, was Huber’s follow-through long after the project was done. Nearly a year later, I had a plumbing emergency over a weekend and reached out to him for help. He responded immediately and went the extra mile to coordinate a same-day solution — his crew picked up and installed a new water heater within hours, preventing any disruption to our guests.I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Huber and Northern Sky Builders again. They deliver high-quality work, are honest, responsive, and reasonably priced — all the qualities you hope for in a contractor, but rarely find all in one company.

I had a very positive experience with Huber Zuniga and Northern Sky Builders. He built an outdoor staircase, a gas meter shed and helped coordinate my gas line hookup. My project had a lot of unanticipated issues and Mr. Zuniga handled them for me in a very efficient and professional manner. His invoicing was clear and his pricing seemed fair. Mr. Zuniga at Northern Sky Builders would be the first contact I would make if I had another project that required building construction services.

We recently entrusted Northern Sky Builders with the remodel of our Donner Lake cabin, which included the addition of a bedroom and remodel of our bathrooms. Overall, our experience with NSB was very positive. From the outset, it was evident that they prioritized quality craftsmanship. Huber and his team not only matched the existing look of our cabin, but also enhanced its overall appeal. While there were a few bumps along the way, which is not uncommon in such endeavors, the professionalism exhibited by Huber ultimately made all the difference. He was responsive and always willing to listen to our concerns. We now have a beautiful space that we can enjoy for years to come. We would not hesitate to recommend NSB to anyone seeking quality craftsmanship and excellent service for their remodeling needs.

Huber and the whole team at Northern Sky builders helped me build a detached garage. I''ve done many construction projects, but building in the North Tahoe area has very obvious complications and potential bubbling costs. Huber and his team did a great job at managing it all. Very professional. To start, before choosing them as our GC I got three bids and theirs was the clearest and most honestly priced. The project did take longer but because of issues we found along the way, not because of anything they could control. Overall I would and probably will work with them again on future projects.

Huber and his crew did a great job with my garage edition and exterior remodel. He is honest, trustworthy and professional. His team did great quality work and I would work with them again on my next project!
