When I got the first InBody scan done at WarriorAxe, I cried. But, it was the kick in the butt I needed to pay more attention to my diet. I was already working out 6 times a week (3 crossfit sessions & 3 Jiu-jitsu lessons) and had greatly increased my strength & stamina, so why was I gaining weight? Food. That day, I downloaded a food tracking app & buckled down. 3 months later I can see ab muscles (they were there before, I just couldn't see them), I'm down 15 pounds, lost over 5 1/2% body fat, (new update...I'm down 30 pounds & over 12% body fat) and more importantly, I took my visceral fat number from 13 down to 9 (new update...down to 6)! This is with me having to dial back my workout intensity for the past 2 months with my broken toe.
