I reached out to Lucy after my 5 year old was struggling in school with controlling his emotions and often showing displays of defiance to his teacher. I felt we had tried many strategies but his emotional immaturity seemed to get the better of him no matter what we tried.After a zoom call with Lucy, she felt she had some tools to help and two terms on I can honestly say that those tools are helping. My son has enjoyed seeing Lucy weekly in a 1:1 session. She has worked with his mood and adapted sessions to suit even with his broken arm. In the after session recap emails I get a great picture of what he has been up to and how I can work on super powers at home. He often comes home with work sheets showing his positive thoughts and that's golden.My son was involved in a bad car crash and used his breathing and when he broke his arm as ways to try to keep calm.I have noticed a huge difference in the time taken to apologise or realise his attitude or actions are not ideal. There is more thought in his actions and considerable less defiance.At parents evening his teacher found similar actions in the classroom where his ways of expressing no are a lot more acceptable and you can talk to him much more than she could before.Its hard being a July 5 in a school classroom that's so fast paced and when you're still trying to find yourself, the expectations of a year 1 classroom can just add pressure if you're not sure how to manage it all. I am very thankful to Lucy and all she has shown my son as there really has been a difference as he has gone through his mindful journey. We are looking forward to another term working together and supporting his emotional and mental well being as best as we can.We highly recommend Lucy with her skills, years of experience and knowledge.

My 2 boys had a great experience at the mini me sessions, Lucy was very engaging and taught some great techniques. My oldest son loves the breathing ball. (We had to buy one).

Lucy is very knowledgeable and supports each child individually. Also shares ideas that supports adults. Lucy clearly has a passion for what she teaches and the sessions she runs. Would highly recommend. Your child will love every second!

WOW, what can I say? Lucy is amazing! My son attended the Mini Me Mindfulness holiday club and had an incredible experience. He learned valuable skills to help regulate his emotions and feelings, made new friends, and—most importantly—had so much fun!Lucy is kind, caring, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She didn’t just support my son during the course—she also supported me, offering help and guidance even after the club ended. A truly remarkable person. We’re so grateful!

My 4 year old daughter attends nursery where Lucy runs monthly sessions for the children. My daughter often comes home talking about the fun games and techniques she has used with Lucy and always looks forward to the next time she will be at nursery.The impact this has had on my 4 year old managing her own emotions has been great, often taking herself to complete breathing activities to calm down when she is upset or 'needs a minute'.It is incredible to see that these skills have transferred to when someone else is upset too. I believe a 4 year old offering comfort to her Mom saying 'look at me Mommy, you need to breathe like this, like Lucy shows me' is the biggest sign of the impact that MiniMe Mindfulness can have on the children.We cannot thank Lucy enough for the work she is doing!

I cannot recommend Lucy at MiniMe Mindfulness Cannock highly enough!!The children absolutely love it when Lucy comes into nursery and teaches us a new ‘super power’ each time through play-based learning. Lucy’s sessions are amazing and the children are totally engaged throughout. Lucy has got to know the children well and 'homes in' on their interests, ensuring content of their interests are apparent in each session.All children are making amazing progress and are developing a lovely understanding of ‘Mindfulness’ and its importance which is lovely to see at such a young age.Not only the children, but I as their teacher, are learning techniques and strategies to ensure Mindfulness is being promoted within the setting. The children enjoy engaging in Lucy’s activities and techniques in between visits and talk about her frequently and ask when she is next coming. Some children have even been teaching their parents what they have learnt in their MiniMe Mindfulness session including yoga stretches and the power of their breath.Thank you so much Lucy - we cannot wait for next month 🙂Keep spreading your amazing positivity 👏

I am so glad I was offered the chance for my son to attend a session with Lucy!!! He has ADHD an can struggle with understanding his feelings and self-regulation. I was concerned that he wouldn't be able to focus which ironically was what that session was based on. It went amazingly well!!! He concentrated the whole time and really enjoyed himself. Lucy is great with the children, talking to them in a way that they understand, ensuring they get the most out of the session and understand how they can help themselves in true life scenarios. We will definitely attend again and absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone!!! I truly believe this is something that every child should be taught from a young age and am glad there is someone out there that can offer this to our children!!!

Lucy does weekly sessions at Fun Start Childcare. Our children really enjoy these sessions and get very excited when Lucy arrives. They all like learning a new superpower each week and this is linked to a dance, story and other fun activities to keep them engaged. Highly recommend Lucy and MiniMe Mindfulness

Lucy came and did a minime-mindfulness session with our Brownie unit. She kept the girls engaged for the whole hour teaching them techniques and 'super powers' to help them with their mental health. Would highly recommend

My daughter has attended the last few sessions and has looked forward to it every week! Might not sound like it’s anything special but for my Mia that is huge. After the first session alone she came home and YouTubed all the videos related to mini me. After attending she has become less emotional when leaving her to go school/ other places too

I attended one of Lucy's mindfulness sessions with my children recently and WOW!!! She makes mindfulness fun for all ages with interactive games and open-ended discussions giving children the opportunity to explore their feelings. Will be attending again for sure!
