Unfortunately, throughout my experience in these roles, I faced significant mistreatment. The environments became toxic, with management often creating unnecessary obstacles that made my job far more difficult than it should have been. I finally left those positions due to ongoing mistreatment. While I initially felt more comfortable in the smaller chiropractic office, it soon became clear that the staff, who were all related, fostered a hostile environment. After filing a sexual harassment claim at Southeastern Healthcare Chiropractic, which had a witness involved, I experienced severe retaliation, discrimination, and bullying for months. Despite my attempts to focus on my work, the situation escalated, and I was falsely accused of various issues, including racism against “people of color” (being I am a woman of color) and poor work performance. My dedication to the job was never in question, as I consistently went above and beyond, even commuting an hour each way to work to Shallotte, Leland and Wilmington location. The experience with Southeastern Healthcare, LLC, has been deeply troubling. The unethical behavior and lack of professionalism I encountered are unacceptable. No one should have to endure what I went through, and it is important that this issue is addressed. I will continue to speak out about this, as such treatment is not only wrong but also damaging to the integrity of the healthcare profession. I would tell anyone, who is considering being a chiropractor at this location or an assistant to look elsewhere. This is not the place you want to work. Also remember, everyone is related to each other. Therefore, if there is any problem, just know you will be the first one out and will be targeted. By the way it’s a “Christian” company. 🤣 They will sell that to you in a heartbeat. Do NOT let that comfort you or sway you to say yes. The pay is horrible, the hours are awful, the work is demanding in so many ways. Those people will not respect you at all . No matter what you are going through. Less

I was initially told in the beginning I had 30 free visit for the year with my insurance and then they let my insurance bill $10 copayments for each visit totaling $170 and stuck me with a bill.
