I’ll start with saying that they did help me have a baby over 40 on the first try, so yay! They have a good reputation and everything was clean and professional and I trusted what the doctors and nurses had to say. They have a huge clientele which means that you get very little personal attention. A friend of mine who did IVF in another location mentioned all of the counseling they received and RMA provided almost zero of that of that for me. My only extended conversation was my initial consultation phone call with a doctor. Everything after that was approx a 2-4 min conversation asking the doctor/nurses rushed questions at the ultrasounds or when the nurses called in the afternoons with bloodwork results.The system for bloodwork and ultrasounds is to arrive between 6-8am and text that you have arrived then wait in your car until they call you in. Then you wait inside until they call you back. The shortest I ever waited was about 30 min and the longest was 2 hours for just a 2 min blood draw, which can be incredibly annoying if you need to get to work or have another child to get home to.The time I was most bothered by the overbooking of patients was when I had my 5 minutes in the room for an ultrasound and forgot to ask them to show me exactly where to give myself a very intimidating looking shot, so I asked the receptionist to check in with a nurse to step back out and show me. The nurses wouldn’t come out and said to just watch the video online. After paying tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket, I was very disappointed that they couldn’t give another 2 minutes to help me feel reassured that I would be proceeding correctly, so at my next appointment I mentioned it to the doctor expecting an apology or something but was met with “We have over 70 people out there this morning and the nurses are in a new room every 3 minutes, we don’t have time for all of that.” In my opinion, if you can’t afford an extra couple of minutes, then you’re not providing adequate service. They confirmed by my bruising that I should have been injecting the medication slightly higher and made a circle exactly where it should go, which is all I wanted the first time. Another client in the waiting room one day compared us to cattle just waiting in line to be pushed through.I’m very happy with the results, but if you’re looking for an emotional hand holding place to navigate this journey, this may not be it. One thing I personally liked about their lack of in depth communication was that no statistics were shared with me about the likelihood it would work. I feel like that would have felt defeating before it needed to be.

He takes time to explain everything thoroughly, answers questions honestly, and approaches each conversation with genuine care.From Dr. Miller to the entire nursing team, the level of care we received was outstanding. We were fortunate to become pregnant on our first attempt under their guidance.What makes RMA of Michigan truly special is their empathy. From the moment we walked into the clinic until we transitioned to our OB-GYN, the team was personally invested in our journey. They supported us through what is often an emotionally difficult process with compassion and understanding—treating us more like family than just patients.They don’t just follow IVF protocols—they truly understand the emotional side of the journey and support you every step of the way.I strongly recommend RMA of Michigan to anyone looking for a highly professional, organized, and genuinely caring IVF clinic.

We’ve had such a great experience at RMA. Dr. Miller is amazing- truly caring and intelligent, Dr. Wolf is incredibly nurturing- the mom you want by your side type of doctor-, and as the “newer” doctor, Dr. George has been a wonderful addition to the team.But honestly, the real energy is in the lab! The staff there make morning monitoring so much easier. With multiple labs each week, I can confidently say there’s a reason we call Kita the “sniper”—they’re that good. I’ve been going to this office since August. My husband and I ended up doing IVF. I have met all three doctors, but my primary physician was Dr. Miller. He is very straightforward and factual and would always answer all of my questions. I do agree that this is a very busy office and I can see how some could feel like they are “just a number”, but really they did for me exactly what they promise. As a nurse myself, I don’t expect emotional support and fluff from medical providers, I feel that’s what my friends and family are for. As far as medical care, the communication and clarity was always there. Might I also mention that they have really updated medical equipment and I was so thankful that after I was “discharged” to my OB who could not locate a heartbeat on ultrasound (using VERY old equipment), RMA happily had me come in the following Monday for an ultrasound and thankfully they could locate a heartbeat!Side note: I did notice that the wait time for bloodwork and ultrasounds was MOST congested around 6-6:30 am, so yes those wait times others reported are accurate. However, once I started arriving around 7:30 am, my wait time suddenly dropped to about 10-15 minutes. Little tweaks in your morning plan at RMA can make a huge difference.Ultimately, I am happy to report that I am pregnant on my first embryo transfer. I was able to get 8 healthy embryos during my first (and only!) egg retrieval. What more can a patient ask for? I am more than satisfied with my experience with RMA. Thanks to them, we were able to start our family! Thank you RMA!
