I've been attending College Aid Pro's free webinars for the past few years while navigating the college process with my two daughters—one an incoming freshman and the other a junior. I've always appreciated their complimentary guidance on application strategies, loans, FAFSA, and all the other fun stuff when it comes to paying for college. This past spring, I decided to hire their team to help appeal my freshman daughter's financial aid offer. Since our family income had recently decreased, I wanted to take full advantage of the situation and felt like it was worth spending the $$. I was right. Dan and I met several times over Zoom and exchanged numerous emails throughout the process. While I had a general strategy in mind, Dan identified a few small oversights in my original application that turned out to have a significant impact. He also helped craft an outstanding appeal letter that made a compelling case. The result? He helped me crunch numbers and figure out the university that best fit our financial circumstances.
