We worked with Jason Sloane. He helped us understand the different types of merit and financial aid available, how they differ between the colleges of interest, and most importantly, an estimate of how much it would cost to send our child to her 15 colleges of interest. As a result, our child narrowed and ranked her college list anew, focused on the college that was the best fit for her and ultimately was accepted. Jason was super responsive during this time to our questions and requests for meetings which was very helpful in managing our anxiety as we navigated the college application process. We chose to go with the early decision round, but Jason's advice is probably even more helpful for regular decision students, especially those comparing multiple offers.
