He helped us understand the different types of merit and financial aid available, how they differ between the colleges of interest, and most importantly, an estimate of how much it would cost to send our child to her 15 colleges of interest. As a result, our child narrowed and ranked her college list anew, focused on the college that was the best fit for her and ultimately was accepted. Jason was super responsive during this time to our questions and requests for meetings which was very helpful in managing our anxiety as we navigated the college application process. We chose to go with the early decision round, but Jason's advice is probably even more helpful for regular decision students, especially those comparing multiple offers.

I am so impressed by the work of College Aid Pro on our behalf. Our twins were accepted into two private liberal arts colleges, but we weren’t offered a penny of aid. When Kevin and the team said they thought they could help us, we were skeptical but felt like we would learn something and at the least get some advice about how to fund the $800K in tuition we were facing over the next 4 years. The team took a detailed accounting of our financial challenges then helped us craft a compelling and ultimately successful appeal (it took 3 rounds of back-and-forth exchanges with each college). I want to recommend Jason to anyone who is in the process of planning for their child's college experience. It is WELL WORTH the cost of the consultation. In retrospect, I would have involved him A LOT sooner in the process and saved myself a lot of anxiety and stress. He was kind, smart and clear during our consultation and used our time efficiently. He is skilled at speaking with parents who are nervous and are (especially) going through it for the first time (although I would recommend this to parents for EACH of their college bound kids!).
