I am so impressed by the work of College Aid Pro on our behalf. Our twins were accepted into two private liberal arts colleges, but we weren’t offered a penny of aid. When Kevin and the team said they thought they could help us, we were skeptical but felt like we would learn something and at the least get some advice about how to fund the $800K in tuition we were facing over the next 4 years. The team took a detailed accounting of our financial challenges then helped us craft a compelling and ultimately successful appeal (it took 3 rounds of back-and-forth exchanges with each college). So far we have received roughly $25k a year in aid after the appeals.The most helpful part of the process was the deep understanding of the game being played and the technicalities of what the colleges truly consider as they opaquely decide who gets aid and who doesn’t. I want to recommend Jason to anyone who is in the process of planning for their child's college experience. It is WELL WORTH the cost of the consultation. In retrospect, I would have involved him A LOT sooner in the process and saved myself a lot of anxiety and stress. He was kind, smart and clear during our consultation and used our time efficiently. He is skilled at speaking with parents who are nervous and are (especially) going through it for the first time (although I would recommend this to parents for EACH of their college bound kids!).
