Had a life-changing haircut here and that is not an exaggeration. I don't think I can ever get a haircut elsewhere now! I have fine hair and have struggled to find a stylist who knew what to do with it and I'm so happy that I found Frenchie's. What I loved most about it was how my stylist Abbi explained why my previous haircut wasn't working for me, told me every change she was going to make and why. This is not a passive haircut, Abbi was engaging with me every step of the way. She taught me how to style my hair after my haircut. The head massage, beverages and snacks were all wonderful. This is a luxury experience that only costs a little more than a regular haircut, and they have a no tip policy.Hands down the best haircut I have ever had. I walked out feeling so confident and beautiful.

My hair looks great, I could have wine and popcorn while we chatted away, I honestly felt like I went to my incredibly talented friends house. No matter what hair type you have, what kind of hair cut or style you want, which hair stylist (aka hair magician) is working with you, you will receive 100% of their talent, knowledge, and skills. I went here on a whim during covid after getting a discount coupon and have never looked anywhere else. I have always left impressed and pleased. I greatly appreciate the time and care every single stylist has taken with my hair, how they listen to my concerns, issues and the way I style my hair. Their recommendations for products have always been spot on. Salon products can get a bad rap for being over priced junk but the Eufora brand is quality made from quality ingredients (first ingredient in many is aloe, not water). I sound like a weird record whenever someone comments on my hair, "thank you for noticing, I went to Frenchies!". But seriously, you should visit them too.

Wow wow wow!! I visited Kari for the first time today for a blonde belayage and I am so impressed and happy with the outcome! Kari colour matched the appropriate tone of blonde for my skin tone and explained what she was doing every step of the way. I was also hoping for an updated cut and I’m super impressed with how Kari executed the perfect length for my face shape. The salon has great atmosphere, is clean, comfortable, and has everything I could need (complimentary tea, a little snack, magazines to read). I’ve been on the hunt for a new stylist and I’ve definitely found mine! Can’t wait to visit Kari again.

I’m 4 months post partum and was in dire need of a hair cut. Kari got me in super quickly and gave me the best hair cut I’ve probably ever had. I’ve had my fair share of hair stylists not knowing how to manage all of my hair, but Kari took the time to really discuss what my goals were and make sure I knew what the plan was so I’d get an awesome cut. You could also tell how passionate Kari is about what she does based on all the knowledge she has and the information she provided!I was also encouraged to bring my baby to make it easier on me (I did, but I also brought my husband because I knew he’d wanna feed).Another stylist, Abby, was also chatting with us and she was really funny and nice to interact with!If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would!

I am a guy that was getting hair loss and stumbled across Frenchies while I was out for a walk. They have this machine called Ted's that works on sound waves. I thought, why not try it, it is cheaper then going to turkey. Well, I have seen my hair growth double and I am only a couple treatments in. This is the real deal. Plus the service is amazing, they take all my special needs into consideration all the time. I would definitely recommend them and their services.

I am so glad to have found this little gem of a hair salon in Edmonton . The owner Brittany has created a very unique inviting space based on both the art and science of hair care . Her vast knowledge of hair and scalp health is the foundation for client education . Each member of Brittany’s team is lovely and genuine and they make you feel welcome and special at each visit . They really take their time to educate you about which products and style would work best for your lifestyle. I recently started the TED treatments and have been very pleased with the results . I have noticed much more volume and fullness in my hair and areas that were thinning have improved . Just wanted to drop a quick review To help anybody that’s looking for a really great salon and also anyone that has been considering the AlmaTed Treatment. I started going to Frenchies When I moved to Edmonton last fall after my previous hairstylist recommended Brittany and Frenchies. From my very first appointment, I absolutely loved everything about this salon. The staff are incredibly Friendly, welcoming and knowledgable (these girls are SMART), and the hair washing sanctuary is an experience In itself. I’m in my late 40s and have really been noticing my hair getting thinner and finer over the last few years. Brittany and her team have really helped me improve the health of my scalp and hair and most recently recommended the AlmaTed procedure which I had done yesterday. It was completely pain-free and I’m excited to see the results. I love Britney’s commitment to our common goal of increasing the fulness of my hair, improving my scalp health, and hopefully one day getting rid of my extensions. I’m down to one row now. Recently a stylist made a mistake with my service. This review comes from a lack of transparency, accountability, and overall disappointment with the level of professionalism. I asked for a haircut and a "translucent gloss". The stylist put pigment in my hair (against my consent). I had to return for 2 colour correction services on something that is suppose to wash out in 6-8 rinses.I have consulted with another stylist (from a different salon), and they are under the impression that a demi/permanent pigment was used (not a clear gloss) for the way the colour has faded 3 months later. The stylist did not conduct a proper consultation. (I did not know what he put in my hair that day.) This was not a communication issue. No refund for the original service was ever offered (even when I requested one from Brittney).For context, I have been a regular client at this salon for 3 years. This experience left me with overly processed/toned hair (and a colour that I now have to grow out).There are stylists and salons with higher standards in Edmonton.
