This is my second experience utilizing the services of RJ Slater. Several years ago upon the death of my mother, and very recently for my father. On both occasions, Mr. Slater promptly responded to my calls. He was very sympathetic, but clear and professional about the process. He was willing to consider circumstances & make sure the needs of my family were met. I found Mr. Slater to be very respectful. He had a beautiful inventory and offered advice without pressure. My mind was so preoccupied dealing with the worst time in my life. I was clueless about what to do. I called this funeral home and the gentleman was so understanding and answered all my questions. There was no such thing as a dumb question with him. I would highly recommend this place.

I recently lost my 94 year old aunt to “ old age”. We knew her time was nearing the end, but it’s always difficult. I was her POA and overseer of her care, finances estate etc. so lots to be done. She had chosen RJ Slater for her funeral a couple years prior to her death. I was a little nervous about handling all of this as I live across the country and did a lot remotely. When her time came to an end, RJ was always accessible by phone or text. He made suggestions and took care of most details. Stuck within her budget as well. It was easier than I ever expected and the entire process went like clockwork. I will not be anxious about it if called upon to do this in the future. The experience went better than I ever expected.
