Over the last 5 years, I have experienced numerous Home Care companies within the Spokane area. My husband was a Diabetic and required quite a few Home Care nurses come in to tend his diabetic wounds... As time went on, his battle with diabetes became more intense and he started to have heart problems. On top of the wound care nurses coming in we would have regular Home Health nurses come in and check on him, also provide physical therapy and occupational therapy.. Out of all the Home Care companies, I have to say Manito Home Health was the best in providing not only Care but helpful information that I needed as a Caregiver...Manito's home health nurse, Gail, went far and above her duties and showed me how to do things to better care for my husband.She was the first home health care nurse who a Genuinely cared for not only my Husband's health but also helped mine.. She would call and check on him and and make sure we were both okay and if we needed anything..She showed me how to check his blood pressure, is oxygen levels, and what readings were in the danger zones, clean and change catheter equipment he was using, and easier ways to move him on his hospital bed.. I have never encountered any other Home Health Company or their Nurses who provided care like this... I highly recommend Manito Home Health to anyone needing Home Health nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social worker assistance.. I wish I had encountered them 5 years earlier..They would have made my job as a caregiver much more easier.

Manito Home Health did great for my Dad. They were professional, they treated him with respect and dignity. The nurse walked me through things I needed to know. Both physical therapy and occupational therapy were helpful and although they felt he was good they came one more time on our request which helped us to feel comfortable. I recommend this company.
