This is the only review you need to read to know that you should hire Brick Industries without hesitation. Trust me when I say that you do not need to look any further and that not all licensed Asbestos remediation companies are the same. (Even if they have seemingly decent reviews.)We had an EXCEPTIONAL experience with Brick Industries and truly cannot recommend them highly enough.Brick Industries completed asbestos remediation across three rooms in our home, and the results and experience were unbelievable. Eric came to our home to do a consultation visit the same day we called to inquire about the job and then his company was there to complete the work within just a few days after. We had 9x9 asbestos containing tile and mastic in multiple rooms that needed to be taken up after old carpeting was removed following water damage.Following Brick Industries work at our home, the slab of our home was left looking brand new - pristine! The photos sent to us when the job was complete almost looked like freshly installed carpet. The level of care, precision, and professionalism they brought to the job immediately set them apart. They also use a 3rd party to both collect and perform air quality testing which sets them apart from other companies and lets you rest assured that your home is safe to be back in.Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, we had to hire a DIFFERENT licensed company to complete similar work in another area of our home only a few weeks after, and the difference was NIGHT and DAY.This other company used harsh, overwhelming petroleum based chemicals that left our home smelling like gasoline. While it is an "approved chemical" there are far less toxic chemicals and safer removal methods to use by more experienced companies (like Brick) and this other company gave us no warning of the odor and residue it would leave behind. The other company also left the space dirty, including damaging freshly installed trim, and there was still visible residual mastic in multiple areas. To make matters worse, the other company was defensive and unwilling to answer basic questions about their process, specifically how they cleaned up the chemicals they used or address our concerns about whether leveling compound would properly adhere to the slab after the oily product they applied. What really speaks volumes about Brick Industries, though, is what happened next. I called Eric from Brick, out of concern that our home might not be safe to be in due to both the residue all over the floors and the overwhelming petroleum odor.Eric from Brick went above and beyond to help us navigate the issues caused by the other company. He took the time to guide us through discrepancies in the other company's paperwork and testing, even connecting us with representatives at the state level to ensure we were getting accurate information and proper resolution. We only got resolution with the other company once a state inspector came to our home and told the other company they had to come back to redo the work. Despite all of this, Eric from Brick Industries checked in on us multiple times and made sure we were taken care of, even though the second portion of the work wasn’t even done by his company. That level of integrity, professionalism, and genuine care from Brick Industries, and specifically Eric, is incredibly rare.If you’re on the fence about who to hire to, let this be your sign: do not hesitate - call Brick Industries. You will be in the most capable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy hands.I've attached photos from both the work that Brick Industries did as well as the other company to illustrate the difference.Eric & team, thank you for setting the bar for what excellent customer service and asbestos remediation should look like. We are deeply appreciative of each of you.
