I came to Chris with a pinch in my rotator cuff which was a knock-on effect from an injury I sustained the prior year. He was able to diagnose the issue almost immediately and came up with a treatment plan. After 4 visits across 5 weeks and following my assigned routine, the issue was all but gone, but I certainly came out of treatment better than before armed with the knowledge of how misalignment and underdeveloped rotator cuff muscles can lead to shoulder pain, and how to strengthen aforementioned muscles. Because of this I'm now able to adapt my lifestyle and routine in such a way that I'm far less likely to present the same issue in the future. Chris once told me that one of the most important parts of PT is education, and this was a great example of how learning and understanding one's own body through PT treatment can lead to a stronger more robust body, lifestyle, and mind. Working with Chris will change the way you think about sports and injury, if you have any sort of constant issue or you wear some sort of brace to protect your body while exercising or playing sports, do your self a favor and visit Chris. Your body is far more free and capable than you imagine, you just don't know how to unlock that potential, and Chris Lee can help with that.If you are interested in seeing what my consultation with Chris was like, I published a Youtube video on my channel which you can search up (channel name: "Eric the Racket Scientist")I have known Chris for a number of years before I sought treatment with him. Chris is both an experienced high level athlete and a coach in the sport of badminton. We met and became friends through the badminton community. Because of this I can say that Chris has a deep understanding of complex sports technique, and how a sedentary lifestyle can influence sports performance and manifest in injuries (since many people in the badminton community work in tech and sit at a desk for long periods of time). But his knowledge is not just limited to badminton and sports. My final two sessions were dedicated to preparation for a race, a 20K Spartan race (basically a trail run obstacle course), where I had never done a race over 15k before. He gave me a lot of great tips on how to foam roll properly to keep my tendons flexible (especially my IT band), and some exercises to reinforce tendons and ligaments in the knee. I'm happy to say that I was able to complete my race without any issues with Chris' help.
