If I could give 10 stars I would! we dined at the Duval location and it has been the best food our whole trip! The appetizers, cocktails and main dish were amazing! we thought we could not eat anything else... the crème brûlée and tiramisu was excellent! The service was awesome from when we walked in to when we left. A must eat when visiting Key West!!!

Surprisingly well priced for being right on duval. They accommodated us with out a reservation and we were even able to sit out side per our request. Good service, food and prices. Had the clam pasta and pasta normal which is a spaghetti with tomatoes and eggplant. Server was nice and interactive.

The food and the ambience is tremendous. Ordinarily the service is also exceptional last night. The service left a bit to be desired April 19, 8484.

La Trat is our favorite Italian restaurant in key west!! I usually sit in the back bar at Virgilio's, but sometimes we'll dine inside when Virgilio's is too crowded and we really want pasta. I love how you can order half portions of the pasta for half the price if you are half hungry. It's my husband's favorite Bolognese on the island. It's both our favorites chicken marsala anywhere we've ever had in our life! Seriously, try the marsala It's ridiculously amazing. I also love the Gorgonzola gnocchi, the Romana pasta, and the Norma pasta. But I always get my Norma with penne instead :) Also, the Caesar salad is one of the best on the island, They actually give you real anchovies! The cannelloni is also delicious. For dessert, they have the best tiramisu that my husband or I have ever eaten! It's so perfectly light and fluffy and melts in your mouth. It's the same amazing martini menu as at the back bar, but in bigger martini glasses without the sidecar. During busy season, there can be a wait, but hang tight it's worth it. There's also another location near the airport, which is much bigger. I find it equally as good.

The 4 of us were celebrating Sue's birthday. I selected the restaurant after seeing "Gnocchi al Gorgonzola" (Gnocchi Emilia-Romagna in Italy) which I loved eversince having it in Rome. It is NOT typically offered in the US. It was exceptionally good, as was our entire party's menu selections. The service was attentive without being intrusive. It was a delightfully memorable evening. I would highly recommend LA Trattoria Old Town.
