BlastOff Solutions carried out abrasive blasting and repainting work to the car parking basement of a large hotel in central Auckland. Their workmanship and quality assurance process were to a high standard, attaining approval from a third party inspector. They have successfully completed work to over a dozen large beams, leaving the client with a maintained asset that will serve them long into the future.BlastOff Solutions also carried out waterproofing work to various retaining wall leaks, sealing a significant portion of the worst leaks. These types of leaks are hard to seal, given they are working on the inside face of the wall.Damian was always available to communicate, providing clear advice, programmes and costing. We first engaged the Blast Off team to carry out a sandblasting and coating project within our large boarding house to treat rust affected pillars and PFC’s.Working within a fully tenanted building presented some challenges, particularly around access, health and safety, and minimising disruption to occupants. Damian and his team were proactive, positive and patient throughout, working closely with us to plan the job and adapt to changing conditions and weather.Based on the success of that project, we soon engaged Blast Off again for a second sandblasting and coating project at a fully tenanted apartment building.We’ve been very happy with the finished results and our experience working with Damian and his team.
