Within just a few days, we had a Zoom/Teams meeting set up where he walked us through a full presentation covering his services, options, add-ons, and how he approaches weddings. From that first meeting, it was clear he was organized, experienced, and genuinely invested in helping us create the kind of day we wanted.After signing the contract, we were given access to his planning portal, which made the whole process so easy. The portal included forms for the ceremony, key people and contact information, song lists for every part of the day, and even questions about us as a couple so that when Josh spoke during the reception, he had real talking points and could make everything feel personal.Our wedding had two venues: Pasadena City Hall for the ceremony and my aunt and uncle’s backyard in South Pasadena for the reception. Pasadena City Hall was an epic pain in the butt logistically, but also so, so amazing — and Josh handled all of it beautifully. He worked around city restrictions and requirements, answered our many questions, and helped us think through the details of having two separate setups.Closer to the wedding, we had another Zoom/Teams meeting where we really hashed out the timeline for the day and how everything would flow. Because Josh had to manage two setups, it was something we needed to plan carefully, and he made the whole process feel calm and manageable. The day itself ran so smoothly because of that preparation.On the wedding day, Josh went above and beyond. He did his reception setup at the house before heading to City Hall, including uplighting, which I honestly did not fully understand until I saw it in person. It ended up being absolutely perfect with the backyard setup we had created — a bougie lounge vibe with blacks, silvers, and candlelight. At the ceremony, he had a clean, easily transportable setup that worked perfectly for the space.One of the extra things we loved was that Josh took photos throughout the day — at the ceremony, around the site, and during the reception. We had no idea he was doing this, and it was such a fun surprise. Since we knew we would only get a small handful of sneak peeks from our photographer while waiting for the full gallery, having those extra photos from Josh was incredibly special.Most importantly, Josh created an amazing party. When we gave him music ideas, we approached it as “these are the songs we would dance to, and these are the songs our friends said would get them on the dance floor.” He took that and turned it into such a fun, seamless dance party. The music felt like us, the flow of the night felt effortless, and our guests had the best time.Josh made the entire process easy, organized, personal, and stress-free. He was professional, thoughtful, flexible, and just genuinely great to work with. We are so happy we hired him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who can handle both the planning side and the party side flawlessly.

Amazing DJ! Was super thorough during the process of what he would be doing during the wedding and what the different packages you can get came with. Answered all out questions in a timely manner, helped us put our event in order, added all the songs we requested and has a great website to enter whatever you want. Very professional but also relaxed and easy to work with. Above and beyond what we wanted and I'd recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ for and event.

Our wedding was amazing in no small part thanks to Josh! We were pretty particular about the music we wanted, and Josh was great about letting us “stick to the playlist” we built. (That said, if you’re not as particular, he’s more than capable of curating an awesome mix himself!) He also sprinkled in a few complementary songs that fit perfectly with our vibe.Josh MC’d throughout the night, keeping the flow seamless and the energy high. He is definitely not one of those cheesy wedding DJs. Every cue during our ceremony and reception was spot on. When we asked to shorten our parent dances, he handled it smoothly and without missing a beat.Our reception also looked amazing thanks to the uplights and color-changing dance floor lighting he provided, which added to the party atmosphere. Truly, everyone was dancing until the very last song! So many of our guests commented on how great the DJ was.We also really appreciated getting to meet Josh before the wedding so he could get a feel for the mood we wanted, and he totally delivered. Even when we had some last-minute changes to the timeline and song cues, he rolled with it effortlessly. He also took care of the ceremony music, including mics for our officiant, which made everything stress-free.Josh truly took care of everything sound-wise from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! Thank you Josh!
