Thank you for motivating me to finally write my personal story of losing my dear Mom.My Dad was so lonely without her. He fed the birds every day in our garden. A grey pigeon became his best friend and constant companion for a few years.The pigeon used to follow him every day around the house including roosting on his bed when he had his afternoon napsMy Dad finally remarried a family friend.Soon after that, the pigeon flew away and never returned!
