We used Seniors Helping Seniors Minneapolis, when our mother needed extra help and support. We are grateful for Jason, and his team, especially Nancy. They were all kind, compassionate care givers. Nancy helped mom by sharing time with her, bringing her shopping, and out to lunch. She also helped around the house with light house work.

We had a wonderful experience with this SHS franchise. We sought a companion/assistance for my mother in law for shopping, companionship, dining out, and tasks of daily living while she still lived in her home but was on the waiting list for assisted living. They were very kind, and her companion was always willing to help out with all kinds of things, take the time needed to assists, and just be an empathetic friend. I enthusiastically recommend!

I can’t tell you the amount of help that Jeff has been For me and owr household. Sure there was a regular laundry and emptying the dishwasher. But he has done so much more than I could never Imagined. 15 months ago, I was introduced to 2 ladies that helped my life going forward. My wife had recently passed & most of my family still lived in Minneapolis so I moved from AZ to MN. As much as my daughters wanted to help, they had full time job and 9 kids of their own.Lynn and Robin continue to encourage me to remain social and they are impressed with how well I remember many people’s names.Occasionally we cook together, they pick up "stuff" I need at the store. Mostly we talk and between the 3 of us we keep my apartment clean.It is fun playing pool with Lynn, but it is hard to beat her. Robin and I play the card game Uno pretty consistently. I say this truthfully: Robin and Lynn have kept me out of assisted living. I consider both of them a part of my family. Thank you, Seniors Helping Seniors.

Living in Arizona and having a brother in Memory Care in Minneapolis was difficult in many ways. I chose Seniors Helping Seniors mainly because having someone mature spending time with my brother, I knew would be a better fit and more relatable in many ways. I truly believe the weekly visits my brother had with Michael, as his companion, kept his brain engaged and the outings they had reminded my brother there was still a world beyond his Memory Care unit. The care was worth every penny spent!

I am so happy to give my review of Seniors Helping Seniors. My health has not been very good and I knew I would need assistance. I heard of Seniors from friends and it sounded like it would work for me. For now I am using them for taking me to doctor appointments. My husband is not able to take me so this is perfect for us.Every driver goes out of their way to make it a good experience. They will take me grocery shopping afterwards or get my prescriptions.I always feel like I should give them a tip but they always decline.I hear they have other services like reading to seniors, helping with chores, etc.If you are interested please give them a call and get them signed up!

We hired a caregiver from Seniors Helping Seniors to be a companion for our mother (who is in the later stages of Alzheimers). This helped give our dad some much needed respite from caregiving. It was difficult to trust someone to love and care for our mom. But, from the compassionate intake process, to finding the right companion fit for mom, to caring for her and giving her moments of joy, we had an incredible experience. The fact that mom's caregiver was closer to her age made her feel like a friend to mom. What a blessing!

A couple months ago I called Seniors Helping Seniors because one of my siblings needed to have surgery and couldn't be left alone afterwards for 24 hours. Due to my health issues it wasn't possible for me to cover all that time. SHS arranged to have 3 care givers make sure my sibling was comfortable, rested and safe overnight and during the morning hours. Wonderful job, completely trust-worthy and caring.
