After visiting the Iao Valley State Monument, we found this amazing Tagpuan food truck on our drive back! During our stay in Maui, we chose to try out many food trucks throughout the island. And I want to say this is one of the best ones. The location and eating area may not be the nicest, but clean enough. The service was also great, very friendly and helpful!The food that we ordered are excellent in taste and good quantity for the price! We got the Grilled Pork Belly, Crispy Pork Belly, and a side of Sisig Dynamite Lumpia and they are all excellent! We recommend eating the Crispy Pork Belly and Dynamite Lumpia immediately on site otherwise they will lose their crispiness when taken back to the hotel.We also tried the Halo Halo desserts and it tasted quite good, but not in the same quality level as other excellent Halo Halo we had in other Filipino restaurants. But this being a food truck, maybe not fair to compare against fully equipped restaurants.Next time we visit this area, we will definitely come back!

My husband and I were looking for a Filipino place for lunch and found Tagpuan! Wonderful food and the lady working was very kind. The food took a while but I could tell it was made with lots of love! The food was fresh and hot and reminded me of my mom’s cooking. There was outdoor seating, some were shaded. If you’re ever in the area, check this place out! 🤍

everything was super good! good serving sizes, the pork belly was suuuper crispy but still tender, the lumpia were perfectly crispy & flavorful, and the halo halo was full of yummy toppings. 11/10 recommend after a hike!

The crispy pork belly was cooked so well! Crispy for the skin, soft and sticky for the fat, and tender for the meat. Highly recommend!
