The work I needed was patiently explained and they kept their promise on the price. The mechanic even took care of a few small details for no extra charge. Our local mechanic in the midwest recommended this shop due to a former employee of his working here. Our experience was incredible.Mark was extremely flexible and communicative with us as our needs changed due to our travel schedule. He was friendly, open and direct, and thorough in his run-down of their work and timelines. He provided insights into their rationale for next steps on the work.Francisco [Frankie], the mechanic who performed the labor, spent 10 minutes walking through his work and clearly outlining how the issue [a bad AC line] arose and mitigation steps we could take in the future. He also did some extra work on the house just to clean some stuff up for us [it's an old vehicle].Considering the incredibly high bar our prior mechanic had set for us, I see why he recommended Modern Autoworks. This is the type of service we as customers dream of. Cannot praise the staff enough.

Modern Autoworks was recommended by a friend in the auto repair industry here in Santa Fe. They have built a great reputation over the years. The first time I took my Jeep in and called for an Uber ride to take me back to work, my Uber driver said, "I was just here yesterday picking up my Prius." Since it was my first time there, I asked him if they did a good job. He said they fixed an electrical problem with his Prius that no one else had been able to fix. So I took that as a great sign.Sure enough, they did a great job repairing my Jeep twice now and I trust them with all my repair work. They are very thorough, detail-oriented, and take their responsibility seriously. They are also locally owned and operated. Great job on the Jeep. Thanks!
