I started lessons with Karen about 3–6 months ago because singing is something I’ve always enjoyed, but I wanted to actually learn how to do it properly and, hopefully, find my own voice. I also find singing incredibly good for my mental health.From the start, Karen has been incredibly supportive. She’s adapted her teaching to the way I like to learn and genuinely listens to what I want to get from the lessons. She also has the patience of a saint, which is definitely needed as I’m very much a beginner!In a relatively short space of time, I can already hear an improvement in my singing. I’m more confident, I enjoy singing even more, and I’m starting to properly understand my own voice and what I can do with it.If you’re thinking about having singing lessons but you’re nervous because you’re a complete beginner, don’t let that stop you.
