Getting a postnatal doula was the best decision we ever made!! Charlotte truly became my all in one support through motherhood and genuinely felt like part of our family. I was gifted a voucher for a few hours with Charlotte, after my third baby. Quite simply it was the best gift I received. Not only is Charlotte personable, friendly and kind - she is a fountain of knowledge and the calm voice and guiding hand I needed in the chaos of bringing home a baby to two toddlers.Charlotte has helped me with my breastfeeding journey and without any doubt I can say I wouldn’t.still be breastfeeding had I not had her as a sounding board and to offer me advice. She has been instrumental in building my confidence (as I hadn’t BF my other two) and helping me find a way to incorporate bottles & formula so I can combi feed successfully.Charlotte is quite simply the extra pair of hands I didn’t know I needed and a visit from her feels like I am being taken care of and supported in a time that generally feels like everyone needs a piece of you and you have nothing to give yourself.She has fed me, done washing, looked after my baby, helped me get through my to do lists and been an incredible, reassuring, calm and kind strength when I’ve needed it most.The gift voucher is the best gift I could have received and I’ve gone on to purchase more hours with Charlotte as I can’t bare to be without her now!

Charlotte is a brilliant doula, we had the best experience with her and we were so sad when our two months of visits came to an end!My husband was working away overnight half the week when our second child was born, and one month into solo parenting both of our small children, I realised I needed some extra help! I was really struggling and started looking for postnatal Doulas — I’d looked at nannies and childminders, but what I really needed was someone who understood having two small children and understood being in the post partum period. I also wanted someone who would look after me as well as help with the children. I had come across Charlotte’s Instagram, she seemed friendly and I reached out to see if she could help. From the moment we met on the discovery call I felt at ease with Charlotte. The first visit was incredible, I’d been really struggling mentally juggling being a new mum of two, Charlotte arrived with the biggest smile on her face and got straight to work, she spotted things I needed help with (washing up etc.) before I even asked! She was excellent with both my children, my toddler adores her and she always got the best smiles out of my baby! Whenever Charlotte visited I had hot tea, usually a hot bath or shower, I ate my dinner while it was still hot and with two hands and she would make sure my water bottle was always full — a must when breastfeeding! She would always leave the house spotless and make sure I had everything I could need for a night of solo parenting two children. All of this she did without asking! Charlotte would often bring little extras like breastfeeding snacks and dinners (she’s a brilliant cook too!) which we’re such a lovely surprise and a blessing!The postnatal visits were such a big help, Charlotte is brilliant at what she does and more than the practical help (which is incredible) she take the time to listen and care for you too! She completely “got it”, listened to me and reassured me when I was struggling! The postnatal visits changed my postpartum experience, allowed me to relax and enjoy being a new mum again with the added support everyone needs at this time. If we ever have another baby, we would ask Charlotte back in a heartbeat, and I’ve already recommended her to all my friends!!

Charlotte has been the most incredible support throughout my pregnancy and post partum journey. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience and has been such a calming presence in our home. As I went past my due date she helped keep me positive and made sure I felt reassured and confident in my birth plan. Charlotte worked so seamlessly with me and my husband (and my toddler!) to help my home birth dreams come true.I had a beautiful home birth with Charlotte gently coaching and reassuring me in the background. Charlotte ensured I got to soak up the “golden hour” with my newborn for as long as possible and helped protect my space from any outside influence. Post partum Charlotte came round to my house and helped me look after my newborn so that I could shower and eat with both hands! She has also been a key source of support and advice as I have navigated the early days of juggling a newborn and a toddler! I would have been lost with Charlotte, she is such a beautiful, warm person who is made to be a doula.

Charlotte has been my go to for advice, reassurance and also just a pick me up. I remember so clearly my little girl was around a week old and I messaged Charlotte a million questions and even though she was on holiday with her family she sent me a 10 minute voice note with everything I needed to hear in those postpartum days! She has always been there to answer any questions and always goes into so much detail and depth and offers so much advice. She has also been a great support in my breastfeeding journey by encouraging me when I'm finding it hard or offering advice when I have started weaning etc. In motherhood you always have & need your go to friend and Charlotte is without a doubt mine!
