Dan provided a proposal to replace our home's asphalt driveway and install a trench drain to stop water from flowing into the garage. After accepting his proposal, we decided to remove a big tree because its roots were heaving the old drive. Taking out the tree caused a delay, but the company waited patiently. On the first day, the workers arrived around 8 AM, removing two layers of old asphalt and a slab of concrete that was connected to the garage floor. Lots of roots were dug out and new rock base was added. I also requested that they install a downspout drain pipe under part of the driveway which they did for an additional fee. Their care in setting the pipe's slope was impressive and the trench for the pipe was amazingly neat and precise. This took a lot of time holding themselves to a high standard. The workers, including Dan, stayed until after dinner to get the gravel base ready, despite the heat. The guys worked well together, respectful and thoughtful. The company administrator, Meghan, skillfully and kindly managed my many calls and questions and made sure our asphalt paving was scheduled on a convenient day with great weather. We were glad that Dan and son, Danny, were interested in replacing our asphalt driveway because the customer reviews were higher than other companies and they built a beautiful driveway that exceeded my expectations.

On the initial call I was told someone would be by sometime in a 8-hour window on Monday. Then close to the end of that timeframe someone called to tell me they can’t make it. So we rebooked for Wednesday morning and told them I’m free until 3PM. On Wednesday around noon I get a call apologizing for being late and someone will be out before 3. I get a text at 1:45 PM saying that someone will be there around 2:45 (plus or minus 2 hours). So I ended up needing to cancel my other obligation to ensure I could accommodate them potentially being late. Well they never showed up and they never called to say they weren’t showing up. Still haven’t heard from them?

Legacy Paving did a large project for me and my neighbors a week ago. Our paving project was over 500 feet in length, including a steep driveway and tricky curves. They did a great job prepping the driveway for the repaving, and remedied large pot holes and depressions. The beauty of the repaving was that it was seamless…you cannot see any seams on the widest part of the driveway or near the garage doors.Danny, Dan and crew were very professional and did a great job. Danny and the guys at Legacy Paving knocked it out of the park on my project. We had roughly 40,000 sqft of asphalt that had been neglected and torn up by semi-truck/trailer traffic over the years. You can see how bad it was in the first picture I post. Danny came out and looked at the project and was able to come up with a game plan that worked with our schedule of having inbound and outgoing freight all day to keep our business running. The old asphalt was removed in a day, and then next day the new asphalt was put down. I couldn’t believe how fast they worked and the project couldn’t have run any smoother. I will definitely be calling Danny and the guys at Legacy Paving for any asphalt work I need done in the future.
