My appointment with Dr. Criswell was a great appointment. He was nice and very professional throughout my appointment. My wife and I both were impressed with Dr. Criswell knowledge and how he was able to pull information from me by asking me certain questions that I didn't know that had a connection with the injuries that I sustained to my head and neck. He was able to explain the testing done on me in great detail. I would highly recommend Dr. Criswell to other people.

I came to Dr. Criswell in May of 2026 because I was experiencing debilitating tachycardia, dizziness, and fatigue. I was struggling to get through the day, or care for myself and my 7 month old son without assistance from my mom and husband. I had been to the emergency room, my primary care doctor, and a cardiologist and they all said there was nothing they could find to explain my symptoms. I was given a beta blocker to control my heart rate and told there was nothing else they could do. I felt like I was being written off as my symptoms being in my head. I wanted to feel better and my mom had also reached the maximum amount of days she could take off from work to help me. When I reached out to Dr. Criswell I was really in a desperate state. Dr. Criswell is warm, intelligent, friendly, caring, accepting, approachable, and understanding. That came across to me the first time I spoke with him on the phone, and during the first appointment I had with him. He validated every symptom I had, he explained the reasons I was experiencing them, and he had treatments that would improve and eventually resolve my symptoms. He never downplayed how I felt, or wrote any of my symptoms off as something like anxiety. His goal was for me to feel better, and no longer need his services if that is what I chose. My mom left the week after I had my first appointment with Dr. Criswell and I was able to get through my husbands 8 to 10 hour workdays with my baby by myself using the tools and exercises Dr. Criswell gave me. I was able to wean off of the beta blocker medication after three visits. By my final visit I had begun to drive again, I had started to go back to work, and I was truly starting to feel like myself again with very few days or episodes of symptoms. He also unlocked my shoulder that had been locked for six years even though I did not come to him for that! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Criswell, or recommend him enough. If you are struggling with the same symptoms I was, or have another illness or injury doctors can’t explain I would absolutely seek out his services. He is very passionate about his job, and his patients succeeding in their recovery. He genuinely cares and understands presentations of symptoms that medical doctors cannot, or are unable to treat.

I was impressed from the get go. He’s very knowledgeable, not pushy and does not rush you out the door. He took his time with us today and genuinely cared I feel like. I don’t trust easily but something about him felt like he was a real person and not just like any other doctor that pushes supplements or meds as the fix. Dr. Curtis Criswell is a national treasure. There's only 2 credentialed neuro chiropractors in South Carolina and he's the dr. to go to. He has a new gadget to work with every visit. I'm utilizing him mostly to rebound from stage 4 terminal cancer that went metastic through my bones, spine and CFS brain fluid. It knocked out my hearing and attacked my vestibular system. None of my other doctors were trained to identify my cerebellum part of the brain was most compromised to target and work on. I've seen some real help in my vestibular system and overall balance. He takes time to patiently understand my issues that no one thusfar has been able to helpwith and makes my wellness a truly collaborative journey.This morning I did something I hadn't done in years, a zumba video with all of the moves. Because of the work Dr.Criswell has done with helping how my brain is processing things I was able to follow along easier and not feel overwhelmed by changes/transitions, and because of the work he has been doing on my shoulders I was also able to do all of the arm movements, including overhead that I typically would avoid due to pain or lack of range of motion. I went to see Dr Criswell for a health issue I have been dealing with for over 2-years.
