They deserve a 10 Southgate assisted and Senior living is warm free everybody is like a family. The staff is great and the residents are wonderful. This environment brings peace and harmony and comfort for those that are facing the other side of life. The most premier assisted living facility in the area. Clean and comfortable with many amazing amenities and activities that made it super easy to make a choice for our old folks especially my Grandads favorite the staff sanctioned "Midnight Madness" Wheelchair Grand Prix race event that they hold on Friday nights. Grandad really loves the races! There is a small sportsbook with odd makers operated inhouse where folks can place bets and make a little extra cash. Thank you Southgate

Southgate Assisted Living has an incredible team that truly cares about their residents and families. The Executive Director, Family Advocate, nurses, Med Techs, and kitchen staff all go above and beyond every day with genuine love, compassion, and professionalism.During our experience, every staff member treated my Dad with dignity and kindness, and they were always willing to help, answer questions, and provide support during difficult moments. My Dad, John Flynn, spent his last days in Southgate Senior Living. After touring 6 facilities in San Antonio Texas, I would never consider any place other than Southgate. The staff was caring and attentive to my Dad's needs. The staff determined that my Dad was declining fast and notified me in time to travel from San Antonio and spend his last few hours together. I can never thank Southgate enough.

Hi 👋, my name is Penny Schiess. I just moved out of Southgate. I moved to be closer to my family. They would travel 9 hrs.to see me. I was very sick 😫 & couldn't be left alone anymore . I won't lie to you.It was a hard 7 mths. I kept mostly to myself. But like anything new,you have to try. I love people & am a real people person.I was miserable. So I decided to speak to everyone. Pretty soon I had lots of friends. Guess what ??? I became happy.!!! This is a very special place.There is a friendly feeling as soon as you walk in the door. The food is good-to excellent. Depending on who is 🍳 cooking. Pick wherever you want to set. CAs with any place you have great food & not as good 😋 most everyone is pretty satisfied. I myself am a cook,so l'm picky. The activities are fun. Candy bar Bingo.every Thursday. A group of people known as the Lunch Bunch. Gets together on the 1st Monday of the month.just sign up & you're in. We've gone Crackerbarrel ,Applebee's, Olive Garden, just to name a few. We to Walmart or Smiths every Monday.We even go to Mesquite. You don't have gamble just eat at the Buffet. We have a Hair Salon & Nail salon.You get your room cleaned every week your trash out multiple times a day. But best of all you get to bring your dog.
