Dr. T is a blessing. So glad I waited to see her. Like no other doctor. She should be writing the protocol for our medical schools.

After a confusing and overwhelming few months following my stroke, navigating treatment plans that never quite made sense, I finally found Dr. Druz through a referral from a world-renowned Functional Medicine doctor I deeply trust, who knows her both personally and professionally and it has been a huge relief.Dr. Druz is brilliant, knowledgeable, and incredibly organized, yet she manages to be warm and genuinely friendly at the same time. She has done a thorough review of all my records and bloodwork, and I feel confident I'm receiving truly state-of-the-art care through her testing, device recommendations, and supplement guidance. Her entire team reflects the same standard. Her support staff is responsive, and her nurse and nutritionist have both been extremely helpful throughout the process. For the first time since my stroke, I feel I'm on the right track and I'm hopeful about where my health is headed.

Great and knowledgeable physician!

2024-05-22T00:00:00.000Z

I am very fortunate to have found DR. Druz who, besides being a Cardiologist with excellent qualifications & background, has credentials in Functional Medicine. I would describe this as personalized medicine. DR. Druz takes the time to review & re-review, at each visit, your medical record & always does an exam. This is the only Doctor I know who does Genetic Testing to find out if the medications prescribed are compatible with your Genetic profile. Some Genetic tests are covered by insurance. Most importantly she works with you to improve your health. Yes, some supplements are recommended but only the ones most beneficial to me. This is NOT "cookie cutter" medicine. DR. Druz is a Cardiologist but in my opinion, she treats the whole patient & is very knowledgeable. It is almost impossible to find a Functional Medical Practitioner on Long Island & to find someone who is so caring, as DR. Druz is a gift. I just want to say thank you to DR. Druz & her wonderfull Staff.

Excellent doctor.

2024-05-22T00:00:00.000Z

This doctor is very thorough and wants to make sure that every angle has been looked at. She explains everything clearly and answers all of your questions and does not dismiss them as some doctors would because they feel like they are smarter than you are. Dr.Druz is very friendly and it's reassuring to know that there are still doctors like her in this world.

I came to see Dr. Thaik because I was looking for a holistic doctor that took insurance (hard to find!) as I had chronic high cholesterol without any obvious reason - I was not overweight and overall I led a healthy lifestyle. I passed all of the cardiac tests and I didn't want to take medication if I could manage this naturally, so Dr. Thaik counseled me through all the supplements I should be taking for overall health and lifestyle changes that could help lower my cholesterol - namely stop ingesting so many carbs, sugar, and alcohol - those are the main culprits of high cholesterol because they tax the liver - NOT butter cheese and eggs as so many people think! I followed her advice and 9 months later my total cholesterol has dropped from 253 to 179! I couldn't be happier or feel healthier. Dr. Thaik is truly the nicest doctor, she is incredibly caring and generous with her time, and treats her employees like family. I always just want to give her a big hug when I leave her office because she's really changed my life for the better!

Dr Thaik is a consummate professional with high integrity. She genuinely cares about her patients and her work. Her staff is warm and caring. I feel fortunate to be in her care, and I give her my highest recommendation.

2024-05-07T00:00:00.000Z

FAKE holistic doctor. She took me last minute which was nice but once my appointment started she immediately left the room to help another patient. I sat patiently listening to her every word while she helped someone else. Once she finally got to me, I was surprised to have to listen to her dictate everything I was saying back into her phone. Then the exam finally started I asked 1 simple question about diet and she declined to answer. When I asked about updating my chart, she replied with reasons why it couldn't be done instead of helping me figure out HOW it could be done. Additionally, she was taking my blood pressure and asking me questions at the same time, then later told me I had high blood pressure. Don't believe me that it gives false readings? Look it up! Don't waste your time with the attitude of these doctors. So many people are sick now they think they can treat you like you are stupid. The overall energy in this office is unprofessional. Find a better cardiologist than what is being offered here. Find actual healthcare.

Dr Druz is calm, reassuring, and insightful.

2024-03-02T00:00:00.000Z

I was treated very poorly by this doctor. But I figured she knew better. I was at my regular doctor, and when they found out what happened and what I was prescribed. They told me to get a second opinion. And I am very happy I did.

Dr. Thaik is knowledgeable, caring, and employs a rare combination of the most up to date allopathic medical knowledge and intuitive wisdom. She is attentive and a deep listener, and she is honest. She looks at the patient in a holistic way and is open-minded about trying different approaches. She is the third cardiologist I have consulted with and she has been the most thorough in her analysis, even correcting some misdiagnoses made by a rather greedy cardiologist I'd rather not name... Her office staff is friendly, respectful, and responsive as well as knowledgable. I recommend her practice without reservation.

My experience with the team at Holistic Heart has been just great. Dr. Druz has incredible expertise, shows up quite well prepared to visits and doesn't make you feel rushed at all.Beyond Dr. Druz, her team is great. They are all responsive, knowledgeable and caring.Their combined approach of metabolism, diet, fitness and pharmaceuticals helps bridge the gap between functional and what I call traditional medicine.Three months in and I'm happy I found Dr Druz and am quite impressed.

I am a family physician practicing functional medicine. We like to know the latest medical research literature in the service of helping our patients with their health and disease prevention issues.I had a recent 3-way consult with Dr. Regina Druz, my patient, and myself. I also know Dr. Druz from a different venue where I have been able to solicit her opinion and also look up and verify her statements.Dr. Druz is an amazing resource, devoted to helping the field of cardiology and integrative cardiology, in order to attain the best outcomes for patients. She is consistently thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable, and in my opinion, has the last word whenever I come across any controversy in this field.I can't imagine a better partner for anyone's health.

2023-09-17T00:00:00.000Z

Dr. Thaik really cares about her patients and is very honest and direct which I appreciate. I had hesitated to follow up because my BP was so bad and I had gained back some weight after being on a strict program. When I saw her she really set me straight and I knew she was there for me. She changed my medication regimen, added new meds and really spent time with me and listened. I left the office feeling relieved with a good plan and my BP has been doing so much better ever since. Dr. Thaik looks at the whole person. Her staff are also great from Dodie the RNP who is so caring and smart and Monica the health coach who is so supportive and Jeannette in the front office. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you for all that you do for your patients. CR

Dr. Druz is a rare find: an integrative cardiologist who brings the best of traditional and functional medicine to personalize the care of her patients. As a fellow physician in the precision medicine space, I came to rely on her expert advice and extensive knowledge.

It was a pleasure to see doctor Cynthia. She was really helpful explaining the condition of my body. She approaches medicine in two ways: holistic and modern accepted medicine.... I understood that it is important to combine both... so people can get benefit from both worlds.

2023-05-08T00:00:00.000Z

Dr. Thaik is brilliant, kind, accessible, and helpful. She goes above and beyond not only in figuring out how to help her patients, but also in explaining all aspects of testing and results. I am so glad I found her office.

2023-05-04T00:00:00.000Z

Rare is the doctor who takes the time to listen, explain and do so much research into finding what is going on. Dr. Thaik looks at all options and is willing to work with each patient as a person. I am thankful to have found her when in need. The office is very nice and the assisting nurse is kind and helpful. If you are looking for a total view, please see out Dr. Thaik as she is well versed in innovative holistic and science based care.

I traveled 3 hours to see Dr. Thaik and after my experience with her and her team, I would travel further. If you are in need of a cardiologist and able to make it to her office in Burbank, I would HIGHLY recommend you invest in your health by doing so. I'm from a smaller town on the Central Coast and I was seeking out someone that would approach my treatment from a Holistic approach but also have amazing credentials. Believe me she has both. Not only was she straightforward with about possibly needing prescription medication she ran the tests needed right away to establish that decision. Dr. Thaik is compassionate and intuitive to the needs of her patients. She explained all the test results so I could understand them and took her Time. I never felt rushed and her team was professional and caring. I feel like she will take great care of me and I am blessed to have found her. I've seen many physicians but her approach to your cardio health is educated and outstanding and I am in good hands.

I have been a patient at Dr. Thaik office for 8 years. She is a knowledgable Doctor but her new receptionist Chelsea is rude and should not be dealing in customer service. They have a same day cancellation policy charge fee of $50. This was a follow up appointment made 6 months ago. No one from the office called as a reminder, instead sent a text message on Saturday afternoon on Thanksgiving weekend, where I was unable to speak to someone to cancel. I called 9am Monday to explain I tried reaching out to the office but no one answered. Chelsea said, "We were out due to the holiday, but you could leave a message." I asked, what is the difference of me calling first thing on Monday verses leaving a message you will receive first thing on Monday. It's not my fault no one was in the office last week to take my call or that you sent a reminder on a Saturday. Chelsea responded, "This is the policy." and she abruptly hung up on me. I tried to call back to speak to an office manager, but no one would answer. I had to have my insurance call the office to speak to someone. This is how a patient of almost a decade is treated? I will be finding a new cardiologist.
