“A Rarity In Business Today” I had inquired about having my old Federal Pacific electrical panel replaced. Matthew from J.R. Watkins contacted immediately. He asked for some photos and provided me with a written quote the next day. The price was reasonable so I paid them a deposit and they noted availability the following week. I scheduled the appointment, they showed up on time and found a few issues and explained my options. Absolutely NO pressure, I took their advice and they proceeded with the replacement. They took less than six hours and did a phenomenal job. No painting, patching was required as they cut and trimmed the drywall for an exact fit.The best part? Since the job took them less than expected, they reduced to overall cost by 40%. Who does that these days? I am so impressed by them keeping their word on scheduling and saving me money. After noticing some arcing and smoke on an outdoor electrical box at my parents house, i made many calls and could not find anyone who can come out being it was a Saturday. I got to J.R. I am in the process of selling my home and during the home inspections some electrical issues were discovered that needed to be corrected by a certified electrician. I called JR Watkins Electric and Mathew came right on time. Mathew was able to examine, diagnose and repair all of the deficiencies bringing the home up to par in the electrical area. Mathew demonstrated a very customer-oriented approach, was very honest and went above and beyond to make sure that the repairs were made up standard and did not overcharge me but help me save a lot of money by making suggestions and helping me stay within my budget. This young man is a man of integrity who will not over-charge you but will work with you. The motto of the company says it all: “Build on Faith- Family Oriented” (I think I got the motto right lol). Mathew again went above and beyond by producing an itemized document that showed the item to be repair and the action taken; this report was needed and was critical in the home selling process and it was forwarded to the buyer’s agent. I would totally recommend this company any time; if you are looking for honesty, expertise and a commitment to the customer this is your company.

I normally do not write reviews but I had to for the experience I had with J.R Watkins. I have an air bnb in central Florida that needed a panel change. They made it so easy to communicate from another state. I had received other quotes and all of them felt like they were taking advantage of me because they quoted so much more.
