She listened, encouraged me, reassured me, and made me feel at ease. We were even able to laugh and joke together, which made the experience feel so natural and relatable. Her maturity, compassion, and professionalism were truly impressive.The **two young ladies at the reception desk** were equally pleasant and welcoming. They were kind, professional, and made a wonderful first impression. Dr. D and all her staff are wonderful! They made me feel comfortable and heard and helped me with a serious health issue that she took seriously and worked quickly and effectively to help me. I am 58 and have been seeing ob -gyn docs for a long time and she is the best doctor I have ever had. I recommend every woman go to her. Game changer seriously! This is my first google review ever and it’s because of this awesome doctor and staff.

I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Taiwo Durowade and her staff. The office is very clean, welcoming, and professional. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, caring, and made me feel comfortable.Dr. Durowade is very kind, knowledgeable, patient, and easy to talk to. She has excellent bedside manners and truly takes her time with her patients. She explained everything clearly before and after my procedure, answered my questions, and never made me feel rushed.What stood out to me the most is that she actually listens and cares. She makes you feel seen, heard, and respected as a patient. She also provides helpful information and even offered samples of certain weight loss medication when available, which I really appreciated.It is not always easy to find a doctor who makes you feel comfortable and cared for, but I finally found one. Dr. Durowade is an amazing doctor, and her staff is just as wonderful. I highly recommend her office.

Firstly, it felt so good to know that I had someone that looked like me who owned a practice where I can go and feel comfortable and feel safe my experience today with my visit as a first time was amazing supashouts out to my PractitionerAmani, Miss Morgan and the entire staff. They were amazing today with my treatment plan. I felt very comfortable. I felt very safe and I will be returning as a patient and I will be spreading the word. Ladies, if you are looking for all of your needs relating to your gynecological care you have to get to Dardur Medical. Now, it may take some time to get in BUT it is more than worth it. I initially made an appointment last August but cancelled because I completed my annual with my pcp. My pcp sent me out to get ultrasounds to check in on my fibroids and from there referred me to Dr. Durowade once the results were back.When I got to my initial appointment at Dardur medical the staff was kind and knowledgeable about potential options Dr. Durowade might present based on the reason for my visit. Once she reviewed my scans Dr. Durowade thought that the best option would be for me to have an open myomectomy. Unfortunately, my fibroids were not in a position to be shrunk or lasered off which she does offer.Dr. Durowade scheduled my surgery and followed up regarding her surgical strategy based on the size and position of my fibroids. She expressed all the risk and benefits of the surgery. Surgery day came and it was a doozy. This moreso because of the hospital, but even through that Dr. Durowade led with kindness and faith. She literally held my hand and breathed with me as they were sedating me. Postop my nurses kept her updated and she put in all orders to ensure I was recovering well.Fast forward to my first period without the fibroids and I cried. I didn’t realize I had suffered for so long. The period without the fibroids was so easy. Although, they can potentially come back Dr. Durowade discussed the plan we would follow to be ahead of them if that does happen. Unfortunately, she doesn’t deliver babies but she does all the other things that are important to women’s health. I feel very blessed to have her as a part of my care team.

As an African-American woman, I often felt disconnected from my body, my emotions, my energy, and even my sense of self. Perimenopause can feel like a roller coaster physically, mentally, and emotionally, and for a long time I felt unheard and misunderstood.My initial visit, assessment, and observations were done by Board Certified Assistant Amari Johnson, and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and full of empathy. From the moment she began speaking with me, she made me feel comfortable and reassured me that there was a real plan in place for my health and healing journey. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out and made a lasting impact on my experience.I also had the opportunity to briefly speak with Dr. Dardur today and personally thank her for the message she shared in her Tubi commercial regarding the importance of proper diagnosis and awareness, especially within the Black community. She was very kind, compassionate, and welcoming. Seeing a Black doctor openly discuss women’s hormonal health, perimenopause, and the importance of listening to women made me feel seen and understood before I even walked through the door.In addition, the receptionist team was amazing as well. They were welcoming, professional, organized, and very knowledgeable. From check-in to scheduling and answering questions, the entire office atmosphere made me feel comfortable and cared for.Even during my appointment — from the pelvic exam and Pap smear to having my blood drawn to check my hormone levels — I felt seen, heard, and cared for. I became emotional because, for the first time in a long time, I felt like I finally had a plan and someone helping me reconnect with my body instead of feeling lost in it.I left that appointment feeling lighter emotionally and mentally, simply because someone took the time to truly listen. If you are a woman struggling with perimenopause, hormonal changes, fatigue, emotional shifts, or just feeling unlike yourself, I highly recommend Dr. Dardur and her team in Homewood, Illinois. Sometimes healing starts with being heard. ❤️
