This review is long overdue. About 6 months ago we had Trademark complete our kitchen renovation. The journey started with my wife and I being on the fence about using a design & build company. My wife is a pasty chef and finding a team to work with her stylistic vision and practical components of a kitchen was difficult. After meeting with a few other companies we came across Trademark. Christine, the office manager was very quick to gather details put the plan in motion (her responsiveness and organization continued through the whole process). Having had a few not so great experiences with kitchen designers our expectations were not the highest. This was until we met Nona. She took the time to really understand our vision. We never felt pressured and whenever we seemed to be stuck on our design, Nona always found a solution. She is really what sealed the deal for us moving forward with Trademark. Once we came in to see our 3d plans we were provided a compete breakdown of the cost. We were also informed we are allowed to use our own electrician and plumber which was reassuring as they had done most of the work in our home and are familiar with the layout. On the first day of demo we met Marvin and Mike. They were single handedly the most respectful, clean, communicative, and talented contractors we have had work in or home. Their attention to detail was amazing and you could tell they took pride in their work. Any time we had a question or concern, working through them and Nona was seamless to find a solution or answer. About half way along the process Vasilios the owner did a walk though and you could tell he was also just as invested in the process and the results. His attention to detail was impressive and he made sure everything was moving forward correctly. The only time we ever ran into a setback was the quartzite install (completed by a different company). There were a few delays and measurement issues. Nona could tell our concern because the quartzite was a pretty big part of our investment in the kitchen. She made sure that everything was installed correctly and even stayed for hours overseeing everything until the job was done. Overall, we could not be more pleased with our experience with Trademark. After a great experience with a total bathroom renovation back in 2012, we again had Trademark perform a smaller job this time - remove a 38 year old SubZero built-in and rework the space for a counter-depth refrigerator. As the SubZero was much taller and left a large opening above the new refrigerator, their designer Nona spotted a fix immediately: remove the larger wood panel that matched the cabinets from the SubZero, size and then mount it to create the appearance of a matching cabinet above the new refrigerator. Their carpenters Marvin and Mike did great work with the wood panel and the rest of the "box", creating an attractive install rather than a "workaround". As we're planning a total kitchen renovation later in the year, this was a great solution to let us install a freezer that actually stays cold now until we're ready for the rest of the renovation :-) Less

The entire project took only eight days, which is a rare feat at a time when materials are scarce and things such as cabinets are backordered. Upon making a decision it was time to update a kitchen and replace flooring in one of my rentals, I began searching the internet for a contractor to make it happen. Vasillios’ team worked diligently on my project and took no shortcuts. I was just impressed on how the work really transformed the space. Upon running into a previously undiscovered electrical concern, he called, explained the issue and gave me avenues for remedy. This was where I knew I had made the right decision. We didn’t have a “pity party” over the phone. We chose a direction that fit my need and moved forward. I have used Trademark Construction for two large jobs. The first was a complete kitchen and bathroom renovation three years ago. Vasilios and his crew were fantastic. I did not live in Maryland at the time, so he handled everything, from ordering materials to managing the work schedule. We had a few hiccups with one of the suppliers, and Vasilios worked diligently to correct the issue and make sure that the final design exceeded my expectations. This summer, when I needed some exterior work done, I went right back to Trademark. The job was to tear down and rebuild the back wall of my house (common for row houses in the area) and add a large deck. Once again, it was a fantastic experience. I was extremely nervous about not having a back wall in the city. However, the crew worked through 90 degree heat to get my house secured within a few days. The quality of work and attention to detail was exceptional. My kitchen's design was awful so i decided to remove two walls to open up the space and put new cabinets up . In my bathroom i had to redo the whole thing because it was too old and ugly . A few years ago we used Trademark Construction for our kitchen and bathroom renovation in Columbia MD and we were very happy with their process , design and installation . This year we used them again for our kitchen renovation for the new home we purchase the beginning of the year. This time Vasilios came up with a better design for our kitchen from the first time since we had a lot more space . We ended up going with custom cabinets ( Vasilios recommendations ) with lot's of accessories. We had the installation of the new kitchen from the same crew that did our installed 4-5 years ago. Vasilos and Trademark Construction made the whole experience stress free for us as the company took care of all of the design, permit processing and inspections, as well as the execution of the deck construction. All my mom and I had to do was sit back and enjoy the excitement of getting a new relaxation spot added to the home. Each day the construction crew showed up early, were very friendly and even worked through the rain if it was possible (when it wasn’t possible because the rain was heavy, they worked hard and late the next day). The workmanship was exceptional and Vasilos was always made available to us if we had any construction concerns and he visited the work site several times during the two week construction.
