What really sets this gym apart is the atmosphere. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping members reach their goals. The trainers bring great energy, offer helpful tips without being pushy, and create a welcoming environment for all fitness levels.

I never liked gyms. Maybe because I didn't understand them. Industrial, mechanical-looking devices of pain, unfriendly, impersonal, cold.The I tried The Armoury Coaching Studio. At 69-going-on-70, I thought I'd give it a shot. And what a difference! The concept is "small groups, maximum 6 people, with a personal trainer". That PT (see, I'm picking up the language of the gym!) makes all the difference! Keen eyes there to correct, a pat on the back to encourage, and all the time motivating us to do that bit more than we thought we'd be able to do.I joined for 6 weeks, thinking I might stick it out that long. Now approaching 16 months and counting, and those sessions have become anchors to feeling good and really feelingstronger and fitter than I have in years.Great people, great programmes and good camaraderie. New habits, and new friends! Thoroughly recommended!

A fitness programme that is well worth the money.I honestly can’t recommend this gym enough. From day one, it was clear that this isn’t a generic “one-size-fits-all” affair —it’s genuinely personalised, thoughtful, and results-driven.Every session is challenging without being intimidating, and the coaches actually care about your progress, technique, and goals. They take the time to adapt workouts to your ability while still pushing you to do things you didn’t think you were capable of (in the best way possible).It's delivered in small group sessions of up to 6 people which you book to suit your schedule. There is flexibility to reschedule up a few hours before which, personally with the juggle of home and work life, I found really helpful.The coaches are supportive, motivating, and welcoming, whether you’re brand new to training or an experienced gym-goer. Week One of Six, Three sessions and a great experience, PT's knowledgeable and adapt to personal needs

I have been going to Armoury now since October 2024. This was the best decision I ever made joining. I have only missed a class if I am away otherwise I go religiously. The staff are so supportive and are there every step of the way to help you achieve your goals. Give it a try you have nothing to lose.

I haven't been in a gym environment for a few years but as a woman over 50 I knew I needed to start adding strength training into my life. The coaches at Armoury are great and so supportive, they make sure my technique is correct and that I'm constantly pushing myself. The nutrition help has been great and I've really changed the way I choose what I eat and giving my body what it needs. I've lost weight, toned up and have more energy. The classes are great with a maximum of 6 in any session making sure you're getting the attention you need from your coach. Couldn't recommend them more. I'll be starting 2026 stronger and healthier thanks to Armoury.

The Armoury is fantastic and provides everything you want from a gym: a clean, well-equipped space to work out, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable coaches who don't just tell you what to do, but how to do it properly and improve your form to get the most out of every single rep, varied exercises which work every muscle group and prevent boredom, a detailed plan for diet and nutrition to compliment and consolidate your physical training, help and advice on tap through a responsive WhatsApp chat directly with the team of coaches and, above all, a real community feel among the other gym users with regular social events and activities alongside the fun and entertaining training sessions.If you are unsure about gyms or maybe intimidated by them (I was before I started at The Armoury), I promise you'll feel welcome and involved immediately by the coaches and other users.
