Our family is so grateful for the wonderful care my mom received from this hospice team. Her nurse, Janice, was especially compassionate, kind, and caring, making a difficult time a little easier for all of us. My mother received great service from Sequoia.We received thorough service in the way of follow up. Nurses and Team reached out to us when we had questions, provided us with updates on mom’s care but most of all made mom feel comfortable every time they came to visit. I had Rachel work with me and she was very helpful very kind and considerate and wrote down exercises for me to do. I’m not very good at doing them because I’m still in a lot of pain, but she gave me good advice and watched me do what I could. Thank you for asking.

The team at Sequoia does a very good job of supporting both the patients and their families. We were lucky to have multiple family members to help with care because following up with Sequoia representatives was sometimes needed to obtain resources. Even if a couple of contacts were required, we always got what we needed. Our case manager, Hye Young Chung is a truly dedicated nurse and made sure we never felt neglected. Lay Eduarte provided social services help even weeks after the passing of the patient. We could see that there were lots of hospice choices in the area but Sequoia was recommended by the hospital and did not disappoint.

Sequoia did a magnificent job helping me as I recovered from my knee injury. All the Sequoia folks who came over, helped me either with exercise understand, understanding my knee injury, more or some other aspect. I felt motivated and able to heal myself after all the sessions thank you so much, Sequoia.! OK
