Our overall experience with Schmidt was absolutely fantastic! We visited several other showrooms during our Kitchen planning and design stages and Schmidt went above and beyond in fully understanding what our requirements were and then designing the perfect Kitchen to meet all of our needs. We spent a few months going through the design process and and each stage Schmidt really took their time to understand and implement our dream kitchen. Savva was wonderful in helping us understand the benefits of the design and the Schmidt product offering. He has great knowledge and made the whole experience very personal. The kitchen hardware is excellent and after a short wait we were very excited to see our kitchen being installed. Haydar and Kostas were very helpful and knowledgeable with the install and it really took the stress out of the whole process. Everything was perfect and we are really happy with the final result and excited to be using our new kitchen for many years to come. We would strongly recommend Schmidt to anyone looking for a new kitchen or upgrading their existing set up. We were highly impressed with Schmidt and their design-led approach to our kitchen. We took a mood board of the concept we wanted into the branch and within 2 weeks our designer Paul had come up with three different options which we absolutely loved. Super pleasant to work with, took the time to explain things clearly, flexible around switching in different appliances and options to make it work for us, and generally just really diligent and reliable from start to finish. The kitchen was fitted to a very high standard and is exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend Paul and the team in St Alban's.

He listened carefully to what we wanted, understood our vision immediately, and brought it to life even more epically than we could have imagined. Having had Schmidt fit a kitchen in France for us, given the quality of the product, we had no hesitation in going back to them for our kitchen in Wendover. We were completing the purchase of our new house which was to be renovated and took a sketch plan detailing our thoughts into Schmidt St Albans. We met Paul Skeffington who developed our thoughts into an initial concept design. Paul then developed this concept into a detailed design, engaging with us at every step to offer suggestions for alternative proposals for the layout and material / appliance selections. He presented many fantastic ideas which we were happy to adopt. We then got the price which represented excellent value for money. Paul then guided us through final selections and got the kitchen into manufacture. Andi, Schmidt's fitter was excellent too. Our walls were far from straight but he managed to overcome this and did a great job installing the kitchen. The stone guys did a fantastic job fitting the worktops and waterfall island top. Paul having designed our kitchen project managed the installation and was available to incorporate a few additional items / changes, which were very reasonably priced. We are so grateful to Paul and the team at Schmidt St Albans for giving us the great kitchen we dreamt of.

We had our kitchen done by Schmidts branch in St Albans and we’re over the moon with the results. Savas listened to what we wanted and came up with a layout that works so much better for us. The Project Manager Haydar and fitters were excellent — tidy, polite, and precise with their work. The whole thing looks great and feels solid.I don’t normally recommend services or products, but can say am glad we found and commissioned the kitchen from Schmidts and in my IMHO are worlds above the competitors.

The kitchen was completed earlier this year, so I have had nine months living and working with the kitchen. It’s design has made it fabulously easy to work in and that is testament to the time spent with all of the team who offered their expertise, advice, opinions ( and a lot of patience) to have made it work so well.The fitters were fabulous. I could not recommend the SCHMIDT brand highly enough as well as the St Albans SCHMIDT franchise. After 22 years of use, my kitchen still looks good and SCHMIDT's 25 year warranty for drawers, pull-out elements and hinges is genuine. A few years ago, they provided me free of charge with soft close drawer runners and just recently with cupboard hinges. I would also like to mention the first class service provided by Monish in St Albans concerning the hinges. He contacted me several times to keep me informed of what was happening and kindly posted them to me on receiving them from the factory, also free of charge. I could not have asked for more. Thank you.

We ended up buying a whole kitchen (lol) as we were so impressed with the quality of the kitchen. There is a lot of uncertainty in the kitchen market these days, with so many clients losing their deposits after being presented with a price too good to be true, only to find out the kitchen company has filed for insolvency or no where to be found!
